I've purchased the camera and monitor, but haven't figured out how I want to mount it, yet. The camera wants to mount to a flat surface, and mirror housings are all curves. I'm not willing to actually remove the mirror until AFTER the testing. ;)
In the "early days" all of the Internet EV groups had lists of people willing to let people charge at their home.
But nobody is putting a DCFC V3 SuperCharger in their garage, so there isn't much to share.

If you could actually heel it enough to matter, wouldn't you be worried about stuff falling out on you when you open the door? Wouldn't the little one have to fight their way uphill to get in?
We do that twice a month to visit with my mother. We are the closest relatives. 3 hours each way, 2 or max 3 hours visit.

I bought a commute specific EV in 2011. My wife had a minivan if we needed a big car.
For the rest of the argument, all I can say (again) is: "if an EV doesn't fit your needs, don't get one."
You are applying your prejudices where they don't belong. Rivian has already said it is NOT a work truck, it is an adventure vehicle.
Don't like it? That's fine. But don't get mad at them because it doesn't do what you want when they never implied it would.

When new car sales are (a goal, not a law) no longer for sale in California, there will still be a strong used ICE car market for another 10 or 15 years. The discussion was about a two year time frame... worrying now about 30 years from...
The dealerships aren't going away, they are just dropping Cadillac. They will still have GMC, Buick, Chevy or whatever. I doubt if there were any dealers that were exclusively Cadillac.
