Then we all shed a tear and hope insurance covers it.

But the downtime and being without your new vehicle and waiting for the replacement would seem like forever.

I don't think I would feel good about renting out the truck for the reasons already listed... but, maybe.

I have however thought a lot about getting more people in the seats of a tesla. Something like accepting $10 - $20 donations per person for short sightseeing trips along the waterway or to/from the local casino, with 100% of the donated funds going to the Children's Medical Research Institute. Would also be a good way to network and maybe drum up some other side business with the truck.
