  1. Can Tesla Cybertruck Actually Stop Bullets? Technical Analysis by a Firearms Instructor [** NO POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS **]

Thats a good point. Not getting a moose/elk crushing the hood or in the front window is a big plus. A very common road warning sign here. And instant death by shifting it 5-10 meters into the air before it hitting the asphalt behind is maybe more humane ... ??
  2. Can Tesla Cybertruck Actually Stop Bullets? Technical Analysis by a Firearms Instructor [** NO POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS **]

I’m sorry you have a closer relationship with that specific metric. When it comes to driving around in such an alien beast, it was pretty annoying how people stood watching in the windows of my Model 3 when I first got it too. Some people even followed me into parking lots for a closer look...
  3. Can Tesla Cybertruck Actually Stop Bullets? Technical Analysis by a Firearms Instructor [** NO POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS **]

The hammer was enough (and the not as easily cracked window had it worked). Dents are a more familiar metric to most people. Got a lot of attention from stating that other thing though.
  4. CT Versus Cybervan

Since CT is a six-seater and has a lockable vault it’s as much of a SUV/Van as I need. Also, a van version wouldn’t look like a rowdy Mars vehicle. Just think if a van was what they first launched. I don’t think it would have been as popular at all, first of all because it wouldn’t be an...
  5. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

As far as I know there is only one ball size here, and detachable is a newer thing since having a tow hitch used to mean a permanently attached ball (with a little plastic cup cover). Then there’s of course other systems for very large commercial trucks, tractors and semis (plintle, fifth wheel...
  6. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

I honestly had no idea how that US tube receiver worked, but I see from this “towing 101” site that you most often slide in a ball attachement if not a plintle hitch (?). A bit more versatile than the standard euro ball but also several different tube sizes I see...
  7. Who's planning on a Cybertruck factory pickup / delivery

Does her name start with an M? This is a small country. ? I won’t dox anybody. Impressive party bladder though. ?
  8. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

The electric folding variant is pretty common on premium SUVs here. But of course it’s baked into the prices of those, and Tesla can’t sell the single motor CT for its entry price with all sorts of fancy doohickeys. On the other hand they usually don’t have many options. So we’ll see what they...
  9. Who's planning on a Cybertruck factory pickup / delivery

Ironically it’s about 30 hours by car from Greece to me in Norway too ? but it’s passing through 9 (!) countries which few used to do by car. It’s getting more popular with Teslas though (We took the semi-high speed night train to Italy last vacation abroad, and could have brought our car on the...
  10. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

That’s the same as the Model 3 (euro at least). The socket is usually up in the hole too, oriented vertically. I think that’s cumbersome to switch to and from. In that case we might as well get an electric folding tow hitch, assuming they can tow equally as much. (At 0:37)
  11. Who's planning on a Cybertruck factory pickup / delivery

Texas is 2.1 times the size of Norway too. It’s humongous to me. We have over twice as many Tesla superchargers though. But superchargers wouldn’t be a problem with a dual or trimotor CT anyway of course.
  12. 37” tire option

Yes, the evangelical megachurch fleet version of the Raptor. ?
  13. Tight Wolverine Cybertruck Size Predictions and Visualizations (-3%, -5%, -8%)

It’s still both on the US and Norwegian sites for me. Otherwise it would be exciting as it could signify a refresh of the pages with new images.
  14. Lordstown Endurance Electric Pickup Skateboard To Race In San Felipe 250

I absolutely *hate* the ... I won’t say design even... but decoration of that vehicle. Cool of them to put their balls in the door crack like that though. I realise that’s probably not an expression in English.
  15. Wonder if the Mexican Cartels Will Ever Try to Steal Cybertrucks to bring South of the Border.........

I was a bit confused as the text initially reminded me of a Volvo ad. That would have been a bit hardcore for them though. And I can’t see the cartels being suckers for Swedish traffic safety above all ? I too think lots of groups we’d rather not have bulletproof cars line up for the CT...
  16. 'Big Short' investor Michael Burry says the Tesla boom is 'remarkably similar' to the dot-com and housing bubbles

I have no idea what the value should be, but the valuation can’t be compared to the old car manufacturers as Tesla’s price also includes bold visions, proven ability to execute, and balls. And synergy with a spaceship company for f-s sake. Balls and rockets! Disclaimer: This (obviously) does...
  17. Behind GM’s shift to all-electric vehicles by 2035

I too enjoy a Marxist analysis from time to time, but this was a lot of assumptions I don’t necessarily hold as truths and would like to see elaborated on.
  18. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

Maybe it could retract and deflate nuts too when cold. (Hint: it’s *always* colder than usual?) I’m actually not sure at what level the euro ball hitch turns to a bigger and stronger system, but I’ve towed cabin cruisers, sailboats and cars on a euro ball hitch.
  19. Tow hitch, electrical connection and in cab brake controller

At least for any euro versions I’m hoping for an electric tow hitch that tucks away behind/below the bumper. Although the euro tow hitch is more prone to excessive forces as you mention. The manual model 3 solution with a cover which hides a vertical socket for the cable and the attachment...
  20. Audi Unveils Its New, Tesla-Fighting Electric Sports Car—And It’s a Stunner

It’s a Porsche Taycan for those who prefer Audi styling.
