You get cash back if you were to buy Teslas solar “slate”/tiles too?
Avon and Hatteras were just brands of inflatable dinghies and motor yachts respectively for me. Looks like great places on the map though. Reminds me that I really should drive a Tesla in the USA sometime.
Delivered my Model...
Seems many states in the US are very progressive when it comes to bills like this and EV incentives in general, and I understand EV sales are exploding from the statistics. Probably much more important to people than different power contracts.
Are these incentives usually something you deduct...
Sorry, I wasn’t totally clear. And yes it sounded like DDR/Eastern Germany at a point there ? Which is far from the case.
This isn’t as permanent as for OP. I can still choose the monthly price contract or fixed 6 months, 12 months, etc etc. etc. Too many confusing types of contracts really...
I have a meter that communicates every 15 min or something and I get charged hourly spot prices. If I had continued to use appliances and everything else electric just like most other people it would get more expensive for me than before. So going to a more granular pricing means you have to use...
Euro:
The 13-pin plug on my Model 3 is for «normal» trailers, also with brakes but without EBS (electronic brake system). Although pin 12 is reserved for future use according to the ISO-standard.
But I would hope the CT would come with the 7-pin trailer connector (ISO 7638-2) for heavy-duty...
True. I was thinking more in marketing terms when you price a very basic base model with little profit or even at a loss but the options/version 99% people need pulls up the profit margin to an acceptable level. A very few (hopefully) will still get the basic base model though, but maybe tell...
Isn’t also the theory when you are at a certain volume that you subsidize the cheapest models with higher margins on the more premium models in order to get in all the customers?
Oh. I thought the rear view camera was at the rear like other cars. Just because the tonneau cover blocks the view from the cabin all the way to the rear. A camera on top before the vault would miss a lot just behind the tall rear end. But as has been said they could be smart about it with a...
It’s maybe nothing but why would he add that he was just in the studio, when he previously said the design was finalized a little while ago. Surely they’re not finalized before he gives them his go. From which time he would not see anything new in the studio concerning CT. Maybe not as finished...
I would think there are between 60,000 to 100,000 preorders from Europe which you guys can disregard. Between 6,000 and 10,000 preorders in Norway according to different articles referring to Tesla Norway.
There’s no way they will start to fulfill these as long as there’s an “insatiable” demand...
Many of you are truck guys with higher and more specific demands than me, but this may apply to someone else here apart from me: I preordered the CT because of range, price, looks, space (seats+vault), stainless steel durability, and lastly capability in snow and *light* off-roading. The Rivian...
This is my hometown and where I worked as a (golden) car retriever all day on the ships. Not any Teslas back then unfortunately, or fortunately perhaps as I would be out of work if the cars could just be summoned off?
I don’t know where you get your numbers (76,789 EVs (excluding hybrids) were sold here in 2020) or why it’s so threatening and enraging that Norway likes EVs. Especially odd on a EV forum and when Norway most prefers American EVs (Teslas). But, yes the numbers say Norwegians buy much more EVs...
It’s China by far in absolute numbers. It says so in the article as well. The chart however is for biggest EV share of new cars sold. It’s supposed to say something about sentiment/predilection and incentives/policy in the society, not within which borders produced EVs are going. And China still...
Do you really think our euro orders will allow us to pick up in the USA? There are also differences between the US and euro Model 3 cars due to regulations, which may be the same with the CT (assuming it’s allowed at all in Europe).
But actually “used” American cars are sometimes given a pass...
This may have been mentioned but you get these as film with a small cable in the corner too. We’re going to have the dark type for the full height windows in a new part of the house, and milky white in the plant growing (orangerie) part. With opposite no-voltage state.
Wouldn’t look good...
