Is 4th Quarter 2021 a realistic delivery date for the Cybertruck?

I think 10% is far too low - for the CT I think even 3/4 completion may be low because lots of people were waiting on an EV truck, like I was.... so with one now being available why would you cancel?
One huge reason is because of lack of funds. Due to financial status changes. Due to pandemic effects. The pandemic is having huge economic implications that are completely different than the pre-order environment for any other time period.

I’m super early in the queue for multiple trucks because Im flipping them. That being said I think I might make my first $4-5k in time for Christmas next year.

not interested in personally owning one until the legacy’s drop their own versions, specifically Ford and Toyota. Quite frankly my model Y wasn’t what I’d hoped so I sold it for a tiny profit as well.

i like the Spartan interior but it still didn’t feel as nice inside as the sticker price demanded. The F150 has just dropped some very impressive innovations that I’ll expect to be met or exceeded before I purchase what I hope is the last truck I buy For personal use
How many did you order? No offense, but I hope Tesla wouldn't deliver one person a large batch of vehicles with so many people waiting. Wasn't there something in the reservation agreement where you state that this CT is for your personal use?

I do not know the intricacies about vehicle design, tooling, supply chains, crash testing and manufacturing challenges, but I do know about development and construction.

I just cannot see how Tesla can build at least one factory and deliver a truck within 18 MONTHS from now with so much to do -- for instance......

Buy the land for the terrafactory (it is only optioned right now) // Environmental Impact Study approval (the public comment period alone is a few months) // Govt. permitting & regulatory approvals // design, bid, construct // utility infrastructure // hire & train factory personnel // figure out where in the world are you going to get so much stainless steel // how you would manufacture so many more batteries when demand cannot even be reasonably met right now, and on and on ....

Texas is not like China where you can build a Tesla factory in about a year (that was amazing). Even with local, state & federal entities advocating such a high profile project, it is still going to be an arduous process to build the factory and deliver trucks; it just isn't going to happen by the end of 2021.

My guess is trucks start to roll out by 1st Q 2023, at the earliest, dang it. Anybody else have thoughts on the timelines?
I am not sure when you wrote this. If you look at a five month comparison between Giga Berlin and Giga Texas, Texas is ahead. Buildings are being constructed at Texas, while there are no buildings in the Berlin shot. Texas is also working 3 shifts (around the clock). Texas will be finished in one year from date of start. Tesla has also said deliveries of CT will start at the beginning of 2022. Personally, I think it will be December, 2021. Berlin will also be finished in one year. They are placing equipment in the buildings in Berlin now.

I waited a while before putting my order in, so I would have plenty of time to save up my money.
By that kind of logic, I'd be selling off Tesla stock to pay off my 2.3% mortgage ...
