What does the Full Self Driving $7,000 option get you? Extra Cameras, sensors, and misc?

I am new to Tesla, and I hope this thread helps everyone.

Thank You all in advance.

Ordered base model without selfdriving but the more i read about it the more I'm interested. Can I upgrade my order later or should i reserve again with that option checked? Think once selfdriving is approved / implemented won't go down in price. Cybertruck would make a great all around utility Cybertaxi!

I would throw it on your order now, you shouldn’t have to do a full new order, just go into your current one and check the box. it locks in the price of $7000 in case it goes up. It’s just a software update so you’re pretty much able to change your mind up till you do your final payment.

Wither FSD? FSD and autopilot will blend together seamlessly. Viva steering! FSD not for snow, sleet, rain, off-road, back road, no road, donuts, beaches, shall, I go on?

Do people accept paying $7000 for software?

Does that include taxes too?

Maybe they need to raise cash to cover lawsuits?

I have the opposite experience as you: my Model 3 is AWESOME with FSD!!! I love seeing how the car even here better and better at it with updates. Yes it's not full self driving start to finish yet, but it's leaps and bounds better than people give it credit for. And it's only going to get better.

Can't wait to have it on my truck too!

I agree FSD is awesome. And only going to get more capable with each update. It's like upgrading to a new model everytime Tesla pushes out new features. No other manufacturer's automated driving technology comes close and most of them have it all broken up in different packages and options, not a whole encompassing software suite like FSD.

By the time we get our CTs fSD will be standard, I believe. It makes no sense to stovepipe two facets of the same software. And for a truck you'll WANT to drive!

follolwing....

I edited my pre order to include it, but unless FSD makes some pretty serious jumps over the next 2 years, it will not be worth it. Not even counting the legality of it in whatever state you reside in.

I too want to add and check the $7000 option... I have my email but it doesn’t show up in my account... customer service is unfortunately not helpful...

Any ideas on
1. How to see my cybertruck in my Tesla’s account?
2. Add FSD $7000 option?

thanks guys!
