Oh! Yes, cab to bed access is possible but not as the image shows (the opening is too big). The exoskeleton will need a bit more structure (a bulkhead) around that opening. Also, the roll-top vault cover needs tracks to ride in around that area so the opening cannot be wider than the roll-top cover. I know Elon indicated bed access from the cabin was a possibility but I don't see how they are going to do it at the announced prices. I hope they can!
It would be nice to sleep in there looking at the moon but I would be OK loosing the “glass ceiling“ and a bit of headroom in the back to have the cover roll and fold into the roof with a permanent solar cell on top of it if it makes the feature possible or less complicated. I have not put any serious thought into how since Tesla is not waiting for my feedback. I have no doubt Tesla guys could make it work if they want to. As long as it is wide enough to eat a 4x8 with vault closed.

Am I mistaken? ! Thought that, I had heard, a couple months back that Tesla would revel a updated version of the cyber truck highlighting what they have done to it since the original reveal? Whats up!?

They had to do a major redesign. The hood decapitated the crash test dummies in a crash test. They realized CT is a little too tough and does not absorb energy as much it should so they are searching for a new material but Elan is insisting on keeping the spaceX material.

Guys, the only way to deal with this waiting game is coming up with our own fake news. Who is with me? what are the potential (not necessarily realistic) reasons the update is late?

Don't know who that is but some think Nikola Tesla was the model for John Gault.

And for those who aren't familiar with the expression it is a rhetorical question meaning "I haven't the faintest idea."

My cousin's uncle works for Tesla. He says the NHTSA is making Tesla add side mirrors. Problem is that the sun reflects off the stainless steel body and hits the mirrors and shines right into the drivers eyes. Franz may need to scrap the whole design and start over.

If I know anything about Elon, I expect him to say he doesn't really care about alignment and those folks on they Cybertruckownersclub.com forum will buy it and love it anyway.
If he says anything at all, but Sandy Munro, in his recent video about the new M3, was noting that for off-road vehicles they normally have larger gaps so they can clean out mud, etc., so maybe the gaps, whatever they are, won’t be a big deal?

I love it when light bends like that. It may be due to mini black holes generated by new batteries.

I have a family member who's name I'm not at liberty to divulge, over Thanksgiving dinner we discussed how things are progressing at Giga Nevada, where the Cybertruck prototypes are being churned out (there have been more than a dozen produced so far, all dual motors). A well-known engineer from India on the cyberteam, Arjun, brings his dog with him everywhere he goes. Meedumrer, as the dog is known, loves to be on the factory floor, to inspect and sniff at everything in sight. The updated power system on the Cybertruck is now 800 volts, compared to the existing systems of 400v. As Arjun was preparing to take the prototype out on the streets for testing, Meedumrer got into the high voltage wiring harness, quickly chewing through two layers of plant-based insulation before being struck like a bolt of lightning though his head. All hands did everything to get him off the harness, but it appears his jaw was clenched onto the wires. After about ten minutes, once power was cut from the battery, the mechanic came forth to Arjun, and gently tells him:
Sir, I think Meedumrer is well done...
