The Cybertruck is NOT a "Pickup Truck". So what is it?

Well I was thinking more e for electric but whatever floats your boat ?
Actually I was coming up with an alternative to what I would think ET conjures up for most people. ET phone home, ring a bell. ;)

Whatever it is, it’s perfect for our needs.

Roomy cabin, lockable storage, it’s a Tesla!

Didn't Sandy refer to it as a Sport Utility Truck (SUT) or something like that in a recent video? I know others have tried to use that name for other trucks, but i think Cybertruck is the first to really fit that name. Nothing says "sport" like 2.9sec 0-60 and great off-road ability in the same vehicle!

I would be a lot more comfortable calling it a truck if there was a 2-door version. Trucks haul things, buses haul people. The CT is more like a minivan with an open storage compartment.
I say the same thing about those four-door things you call "trucks" that you see today.
I'll never forget my cousin bringing over a brand new Ford. First thing I did was go over to the door sticker.... "So, if you got you, and three 250 pound friends in here, and they each have 100 pounds of gear, you're 300 pounds past this "truck's" weight limit."

If you have stuff in the bed, and step on the accelerator pedal, that stuff better be tied down good or it's rolling around like dice. There should be a mode to prevent hard acceleration.

For the acceleration, I think there's a mode called creep! :)

I will need that. We have millions of roundabouts in Europe and other drivers won't be expecting me to be in the gap so fast.

Simple answer. It’s the first all electric PICKUP TRUCK in America that will compete with F150, Silverado and Ram.

I agree for the single and dual motors. The trimotor is more on par with the 3/4 ton single axle trucks. I will be swapping my 2017 Ram 2500 that I am completely happy with for a trimotor Cybertruck if the towing range is sufficient for my needs.
