If a full size AND mid size Cybertruck were available, what size would you order?

If I can't put a short stack of plywood flat in the bed of the truck - it isn't an option. If I'm going to get a truck I'm going to get one that will haul whatever I need. Getting a smaller truck would only be a consideration if a) I didn't need it to haul stuff and b) it was a LOT cheaper to own/use.

But, I get why people who don't use a truck as a work vehicle would want a smaller one!

I am a bit surprised at how many members would opt for a mid-size Cybertruck if it were available:

56.9% = Full size Cybertruck
43.1% = Mid size Cybertruck

There should be an option on the poll for 'I would want both!' If the robotaxi trying becomes reality, I would order the Wolverines for that and keep my full sized CT for myself.

The all new Tundra should be hitting the streets in fall of 2021. A 450hp twin turbo V6 and a hybrid are supposedly coming. The V8 is going the way of the Dodo bird.
Not that I was going to buy one, but that is disappointing, I would much rather have a V8 over a turbo charged V6 and its not exhaust sound. I wouldnt mind a supercharged model

I am not a contractor so if the size difference was only the bed and there was a roof rack option that could accommodate sheets of plywood, lumber, pipe, ladders, etc. then I would probably opt for the shorter version, but you didn't specify 'all' of the dimensions, impact on the seating headroom, shoulder room, leg room for all cab passengers and that would play into it so I voted for full size.

Maybe some of you have missed this solution:

Get the original CT and maybe a trailer too.
It is for work (and fun), there you will need the size, allways.

Order it now and save money on FSD while it is "cheap".

Use those funds, saved now, to by a smale Tesla, when it becomes available,
at 25K for the smale jobs in thight spaces.
Like getting Kids to school or grocery shopping.

At least in Germany a lot of households have more than one car..... if they have a car at all.

I think the Wolverine Cybertruck would steal a lot of Ranger, Tacoma, Frontier, Colorado, etc. sales if offered in the US.

What's the projected rear legroom on the current/full CT? Right now, the midsize truck with the most rear legroom (crew cab) is the Gladiator

My needs are that I would want the Full size, as I assume that the midsize will either shrink the bed or shrink the cabin and to make it viable, I need both.

Mid-size. Though the full-sized version would fit in my garage (without a lot of room to spare), it would be a tight fit in various other places, making the mid-sized version more convenient for me.

Living in France and have owned a RAM 1500 a few years ago. Full size truck are genious inside but a bit too long to park in Europe. Ranger or hilux are too small at the rear seat, but a full electric pickup must be bigger inside than an ice pickup, so if rear seat are correct in the wolverin, i.ll take it !

My 2 cents...

Full sized, if you are using it as a truck often,

Mid, if you mainly do mountain or offroad/camping stuff

Mini, if you rarely need the truck and mostly use it as a normal vehicle.

One addition... full size because there are so many idiot drivers out there that:
1. don't know the rules of the road (i.e. pass on double yellow lines)
2. don't pay attention (i.e. cross over the line and back; Weaving)
3. don't care, or have a death wish (i.e. going 100 MPH and constantly weaving back and forth in traffic)
I'd rather be in the larger vehicle if/when something happens!

Larger vehicles do not make you safer in the long run. There is always someone with a larger one. And you're more likely to get in a collision, even if it's less likely to kill you - it's more likely to kill others.
