Actually, decided to lose some weight this year. I am already past 3% smaller (by weight, anyway). So the new dimensions won't feel any different!
This is a great point, tho! The average adult weight 180 pounds and their weight varies about 6 pounds in a day. Which is...

...About 3%.

Holy Mother of God -- is this chart correct? My CT will have 3500lbs payload capacity?

3,500lbs is the reported spec for the bed payload of all three models of the CyberTruck.

It would be really interesting if someone created a plywood and cardboard mock-up of the prototype and the '3% smaller' version.

(And I would watch the YouTube video of them using one of those cool computerized plywood routers to build these!)

I’m wondering if the matchbox and radio control models are based on the original prototype or the reported 3% smaller version. It might be that Tesla gave them the final dimensions once they were decided. That would also explain the great shipment delay.

I'm wondering about headroom and leg room for the driver. I'm 6'7" (201cm) and have been cramped in my Honda Accord for the past 20 years.

Jay Leno's not a tall guy, he's a couple inches over average. But you can see the peak of the roof is directly over your head in the front seat. There's plenty of space.

But the production CT will be 3% smaller than the CT at the unveiling.

So just imagine people that are 3% smaller than the people in the video. :)
If the truck is smaller, wouldn't we need to imagine people 3% larger?

I'm wondering if there's a particular dimension they were focusing on shrinking. If the height is an issue, then the truck would drop to a 4" clearance which is the legal minimum for vehicle producers in California (as I understand it), giving the truck a 71" height. Still 5" taller than a Model X, but I'm guessing that's not the issue. Tunnels curve and vehicles are more of a chord, so I visualize more of a chord moving in a torrid. The longer the chord, the bigger the radius needs to be and this could be a problem. I'm guessing the truck will shrink in length and some other dimensions will be slightly affected.

Will there be any space behind the rear seats for storage or do the rear seats fold flat for additional inside storage?

Rear seats (hopefully) will fold down and fold up (similar to an F-150 SuperCrew...)

Where did you hear or see that? Please provide a link. It sounds like a wish/speculation. We would all like for the rear (and maybe even the front) seats to fold flat but that doesn’t mean that they will.

I just love the light in there. I hear current Tesla's front and top glass have hi UV protection so I am hoping it will be OK in summer.

I am not sure if these guys are big or middle seat does not have as much space as I thought. It seems like Jay's left shoulder has a bit of free space. Hopefully that is where they take the 3% from and leave the seats alone.

It was my wishful thinking — sorry for the confusion
