I think that is a release to fold the flat seat cushion "up" for additional storage. Kinda like the 'ol "jump seats" found in extended cab trucks....

Mandatory folding rear seats. It's gonna be useless as a truck if it doesn't give a nice flat floor with no seat in the way.

Since quite some time Tesla do not use leather anymore. Exept for the steering wheel. So no leather is true.

My silverado's flip up and I like those just fine, I'm hoping these work the same way in the CT. Folding down of those tall seat backs would barely fit behind the front seats.

Also, look at this image. There is definitely a weld where the cross member meets the side, making dropping the window down pointless.

As far as I know, yes, 100% vegan interiors. The one remaining leather component was leather on the steering wheel, which was changed to vegan in Model 3 production.

My first Tesla a Model S had Vegan. I loved them. My first Model X had leather I did not like them. Several wrinkles. Wife's 2018 X built in Dec had leather. There was a greatly improved. Model 3 no inssues.
