Help From Those Who Drove the CT!

If you know Jay Leno you can ask him. But that was just a prototype. We won't be able to really compare until some press or customers drive it in about 13 or 14 months (finger crossed).

    Are the specs achievable?

The only spec that I think cannot be achieved is the F in the FSD.

    My journey to the Cybertruck

So my family’s plan was probably pretty similar to others. We had decided the Cybertruck was a good option for us. We planned to save up some money and then in 2022 or 2023 when our number came up we would trade in our Highlander and buy the Cybertruck. But I began to run some numbers. With...

VIDEO - Tesla Cybertruck TeraFactory Site Construction Is Well Underway

A couple months ago Elon said they planned to be producing Model Ys in Texas by the end of the year. I literally laughed out loud. I mean, for that to happen they’d have to be making them in a tent...

    Wall Connector out of stock?

I have been trying to prepare my garage for the Model Y and the one piece I can't get is the Wall Connector. The Tesla store has been showing "out of stock" for a while now. Any of you Tesla veterans know if this normal? Or when I could expect it to be in stock again...

Post your Cybertruck preorder reservation number!

That's what I thought. So, since November of 2019 how many orders have been placed for non-CT Teslas? If they sell 400,000 cars a year it would be safe to assume that there are at least 200,000 of them. And what about solar products? I think it's safe to assume that most of the initial rush...

VIDEO - Tesla Cybertruck TeraFactory Site Construction Is Well Underway

Anyone know what the big gravel area is? I'm guessing it will be the new construction office and parking area. Right now they appear to be parking on the clay. I can't imagine that will work in rainy weather.

What if you need more time when your number comes up?

This was also my MY order experience. Putting down the $100 worked exactly like putting down the $100 on the CT. Of course with the MY there were some “next steps” that aren’t available on the CT. Here’s what I think will happen once CT production begins. All reservation holders will get a...

    Tesla Vehicle Questions, Answered

So much agree with this. I’ve been road tripping ICE style for nearly 30 years. And a decade more of riding along with my dad while ICE road tripping. My brain has been programmed to think a certain way for these trips. While planning for an upcoming trip I’m doing so much mental math...

    Tesla Vehicle Questions, Answered

I’ve never road tripped in a Tesla, but I have watched a lot of Out-Of-Spec-Motoring road trip videos, so clearly I’m an expert. The “happy medium” or break over point where it makes more sense to unplug and drive seems to be the point where you will be able to arrive at the next supercharger...

Interior Side View Camera Screen Spotted?!

I took a close look at the Cadillac Lyriq and I noticed that it also lacks traditional side mirrors. It has very stylish camera stalks. Granted, it’s an early prototype/concept, but if that design element is legitimate having GM on board for this could be huge.

Musk: "several hundred thousand" orders received for the Cybertruck

For me it's always been: A couple is 2 A few is three or four Several is 5 or more But I've been told I'm nuts. By the way, this whole debate is hilarious.

Musk: "several hundred thousand" orders received for the Cybertruck

I don’t understand it either. I can only guess that a lot of the MY preorders didn’t convert to actual orders. I’m also thinking there are a LOT of reservations that are waiting for the RWD and 3 row versions.

Musk: "several hundred thousand" orders received for the Cybertruck

I can believe that, but how many of that 500,000 do you think has cancelled? Tesla could still truthfully say "We have received over 500,000 reservations... but half of them have cancelled..."

Musk: "several hundred thousand" orders received for the Cybertruck

200,000 is probably a way more accurate number anyway. We always knew there wasn't nearly a million truly committed buyers sitting there with RN numbers. We just weren't sure how many to knock off. I mentioned this in another thread, but I recently got an RN for a Model Y. It's almost...

Post your Cybertruck preorder reservation number!

We ordered a MY on Sunday and my RN for the Y is almost exactly 500,000 higher that my CT reservation (like within 100). So that's kinda cool. Anyway, did we ever decide whether our RN's are just for the CT, or are all Tesla models mixed in? Because there was a pretty popular little Tesla SUV...

Will the CT come with MCU3

This is so true. My wife and I are seriously considering getting a Y now. And I'm having the back of my head voices saying: "QC will be better next year" "They might switch to better batteries soon" "What if they lower prices again right after I buy?" But I find comfort (yes, actual comfort...

Infinite Range with Ecat SKL "Cold Fusion" Cell

I was in grade school and junior high throughout the 80’s. It seems like every year or two a kid would come to school and basically say some genius in Europe had just invented cold fusion. I had to believe it because their uncle told them about it. I fell for it the first few times, but hey...
