As I shoveled the drive of 13" of snow this morning, then got into my car to drive into work, the whole time I was driving I was thinking about if/how much better a CT might be in these large drifts we got here last night. I, most days, drive a Volvo - and you can tell it was designed by Swedes as most everything about it is "snow friendly."
  • Physical buttons for most tasks, since taking off your gloves just to use the car is a PITA
  • Main flooring material is rubber/vinyl (with optional carpet mats but lets be real), and the floor is slanted to usher melted snow AWAY from my feet and not just pool up on the sides
  • Where the door opens up top is just slightly offset so a bunch of snow doesn't fall into the car seat when you open the door to get the scraper out
  • The blowers actually direct air across the WHOLE windshield so you don't get a little spot down in the middle that thaws first and spreads - you initial thaw is actually in a much more visible position.
I hope the CT comes with a carpet delete (or just no carpet at all), and reasonable blowers. I know the design is such that when I open one of those doors the snow is going to fall in, though, and nothing you can do about that. I also know I'm not going to get my physical buttons, which :( but I'll deal.

What kind of winter-based options/mods/things are you hoping the CT will have?

it would be interesting for the Cybertruck to have a "it's snowing outside" mode... where if it's parked in your driveway it will run the wipers once every 5-10min so that there won't be any significant build up... as for the rest of the truck, I would brush it w/ a large push broom around the doors real quick, no biggie.

The defroster in our model 3 works pretty well (strong blower), but Tesla has some features that are nice for winter conditions: heater wiper motors, heated door handles, charge port, steering wheel, scheduled preheating ability. The CTs suspension should help with snow.

You know...I wonder if it could "shake" the snow off given the suspension. Raise and lower opposite sides quickly to dust itself off. The suspension probably can't move that fast but it'd be cool if it could.

Perhaps it could do the low-rider bounce. Bounce the front end first. Then the back end if the vault is closed.
