What is your biggest Cybertruck question you'd like answered by Tesla before committing to purchase?

Yea sorry, I don’t agree. The Ap doesn’t work very good at all and I have way to many dangerous situations with hard breaking for no real reason other the system got fooled.

When I’m Driving, I’m paying attention. I owe that to the safety of my passengers and other drivers Around me. The focus is on driving not other things.

The other day I heard someone berating another driver for not having chains with them while on the mountain in snowy conditions. She went on and on About not caring about the other driver but concerned she might get killed by a driver not having chains. I thought about this for awhile and I agreed 100%

Sorry but no..... you need a minimum of a 3500 (350) dual rear wheel 8 ft bed, etc....
As cool as the cyber truck may be.... it is Tonka toy compared to what you need.

Never had dual rear wheels and the dual rear wheels doesn't affect the 5th wheel towing weight rating very much... never saw the need for dual wheels. I DID have one truck with dual rear wheels and didn't notice a difference in how it towed vs. the single rear wheel trucks though that truck was a rough ride all the time unless towing a heavy trailer.

FSD And Auto pilot saves lives everyday. FSD in my opinion, is defensive by design. Always looking for pedestrians or objects while also protecting the patrons inside. Honestly, when i get into my Tesla and put my seatbelt on, I feel like a Jet pilot. Not so strange I guess when the car I’m in and the software I’m using, comes from a guy who propels rockets into space and well, can bring them back and land them. Seriously all hail Elon. Engineers are truly heroes and software is just beast. Don’t mess with my autopilot, FSD FOR LIFE BROTHER! ? TY Elon.

you obviously did not get my humor like sirfun did with the FSD. I thought it was hilarious. But all kidding aside, FSD does save lives and help many as well. Just not talked about loudly enough. Here’s one for you to share. My wife and I met a person on vacation who could not go over bridges. Scared as hell. Crazy right? But real. She said she would pull over and switch with friend and back to driver seat once across. ? Crazy real anxiety. She was super embarrassed by it. She said that family would tease her about it all the time. Her husband jokingly said to her one night that she should buy a Tesla, cuz he heard they can drive by themselves. Lmao. It was funny to hear that. Well, She made her husband buy a Tesla with FSD. her husband said it Totally helped her overcome her fear of driving over bridges Wow right? Made me see and just look at FSD a whole new way. FSD helps many people overcome many things. And it’s still in its infancy. So many more facets to FSD and more to discover. FSD has helped me in the mountains lots of times, Yea it’s slow. Would like to go faster and a few other things, but Again, “infancy” . FSD seems to help people in parking lots as well. Wild right? But true. Maybe some gimmic to some or a step I don’t use cuz I’m capabale kind of talk, but a “future still shot” of what’s to come is plainly in front of us to see. It's not been announced yet, though they've hinted that they'll want to do it eventually.

Personally, that's what I want. A four-seater, midgate, etc. Something that fits up small mountain roads. But I ordered the first night I saw the Cybertruck and the down was something I could toss on a dinner. I'd have done it for ten times that, but it'd have taken more thought.

We need to demonstrate demand now. And I can just sell the bigger truck when the smaller one comes out.

I'm looking for actual towing range numbers. If Tesla were to put out some figures of the CT towing a utility trailer with a Polaris Ranger and some cargo weight on it, then I'd be happy. I'd also be eagerly awaiting to see how autopilot and the rest of the software does when towing. Elon made a big point on twitter about the advanced software capabilities when it comes to towing but I want to see it in practice.

This is going to be awesome to find out. Didn't Elon mention a cross-country drive with the CT? I wouldn't doubt they do some towing tests during this trip to give us some data!

The Cybertruck towing 14000 lb/s is very impressive. How long can it do it for, is definitely not.

Its can already be reasonably calculated, that the Cybertruck towing 14,000 lbs with a 200 kw/hr battery on flat ground will be drawing at least 4500 wh/mile.

That means the battery will go from 100 % to zero in 48 miles

Less if there's a little gradient.

10,000 lbs on flat ground, it would likely draw at least 3,000 wh/mile.

I am sure everyone here thinks this, but price is the most important for me, there was an early open request from Elon for ideas on things people wanted with the cybertruck.

I hope the majority of variations dont add cost to the vehicle. I would love if he delivered the stated with price reducitons due to battery developments or the like.

I estimate that my reserved $50k USD dual, ++FSD & ++solar cover in Australia will be about $120k AUD (i.e. ~80k USD) because of mark up, luxurary car tax, exchange rates - cost is going to be No. 1. - definately going from 2 to 1 cars and will be reliant on FSD and possible income from Robotaxi.

I don't think about FSD much but I have been thinking about it a bit lately since the investor call. Moreover I've been thinking about my own confidence in FSD. How much time would it take for me to trust it enough to drive to work and then send the CT home so my wife could use it for errands? Or more than that, to put my 11-year-old in it and send the CT to drop him off at school (he'd probably be 18 by the time I have that much trust ). It's going to take A LOT of time with me behind the wheel watching it in action, perfectly doing what it should do, before I trust it.

How long would it take for you to trust it enough to put your kid in it?

Have you seen the specs of Tesla Semi and watched that unveil? Goes to show a bigger, battery-powered vehicle can do some incredible things at impressive distances. The 14,000 lb spec is for the tri-motor, which we don't even have a production start date yet. It would be more realistic to chat about the dual-motor at this point in time and 10,000 lbs of towing.
