Update: Cybertruck Will Keep Concept's Size, But Separate Smaller Cybertruck Likely!

What is the best / largest size to print these?

They are NTS ( not to scale) so size doesn't matter from a usable standpoint. Take the cm and scale to your own drawing.

Note: keep metrics do not convert to US if you are planning to fab, produce or mfg for CT to avoid errors.

I have an unpopular view on the current CT size. I think it's actually closer to 240", and NOT 232". As I said a month or so ago, the prototype Cybertruck appears to be a fair bit longer than an F150. So I believe Elon's talk about shrinking down 5% or 3% was to get the CT down to 232". Now that the shrinkage is scrapped and the prototype size is what we get, I think we are looking at a very large vehicle.

Again, I hope I'm wrong, but all the evidence is there.

It seems one of those principles was competing with the F-150 (matching the length of a Supercrew with 5.5’ bed while squeezing in the larger 6.5’ bed option). Apparently fitting in a standard garage was not a first principle.

I actually was at first pleased when I had read that there was to be come size modifications to the original concept by what, 3%? Mainly it was the length that was of interest to me. I measured the CT against my 2006 Tacoma Crew Cab with a 5' bed and if I measured correctly the CT was something like 1.5' longer? Unless one is Jay Leno with a airplane hanger sized garage for his vast collection of vehicles, I too would be attempting to park the CT into my suburban standard double garage which is 20x22, I don't think my wife is willing to park her Model 3 outdoors. Parking lot spaces at the mall or wherever are not getting any larger these days, so parking and exiting with "The Beast" would definitely make me think twice about a purchase, I will keep my reservation active and hope for the best.

That is why all Teslas have standard the feature where you get in front of the parking spot exactly lined up tap double tap on the stock exit the car and then it parks itself the rest of the way. I rented a model 3 and I used this feature to get in and out of my garage since I couldn't open the doors in my tiny little garage.

With SUMMON mode and the eventual FSD, parking at the mall -- if any are left in existence after COVID, online commerce -- is not of consequence.

Trucks are traditionally kept outside anyway. No garage queen for me.

If and when I complete the purchase of the Tesla CT, it then be my 7th "truck" in my life time.
I've hauled Hangliders, 4 different large dogs, kids, firewood, motorcycles, Jetskis, weekend warrior project materials, camped in each at the desert and mountains. Now in retirement my wife and I are looking at purchasing a travel trailer in our retirement. Each truck has been a reflection of the time and place in my life at the time. BUT, each once in awhile has to fit somewhere into a parking space in the urban environment.

I’ve driven many a truck. Few parking issues. Not always got to park by the door, but I can say the same when I drove a Corolla, Sedan de Ville, or my current Avalon. Once in a while you park in the back, which I prefer to do to avoid the careless drivers who don’t care if they or their kids whack your vehicle with their doors. I just don’t see parking as an issue. If you are talking street parking in congested urban environments like LA, Chicago or NYC, I would say it can be an issue. Especially parallel parking.

The F150 Supercrew comes in different bed sizes, hence various lengths. Most popular is the 5.5ft bed (232in length) but my Platinum comes with 6.5ft bed and Max tow package (modified steel rear bumper); it's 244in long.

Keep it big. Big is best. Unless garage size is an issue looking for a park may take a few more minutes(Max) & otherwise it’s all good.

Quinton, why would you want to hide this vehicle anyway? My garage will fit, barely, but it will be in my driveway soaking up the free sun on the solar tonneau and being the badass truck it is meant to be.

Lol, call me old fashion, I will still try all my best to protect my property, especially the repair cost and time here here in Australia is much longer than the US.
Also considering mine probably the only one or two in my little town, who knows any punk kid will test the "Unbreakable" door and window with a rock.
