How are you figuring out an approximate date from that?

No one can estimate dates yet, just guesses. Your RN# just gives your relative place in line. Kind of. Well, maybe. :D

Your 'place in line' is about 65,000. If Tesla builds 10,000 in 2021 and ramps up quickly, you should be in 1st half of 2022.

If they build Giga Texas for the Cybertruck, being in America I'd expect it to take two years instead of 10 months as in China. That would push CT back six months, so you might be very end of 2022.

So, who knows?

Tesla told me it doesn’t matter when you ordered.. Once it goes live like the current cars, it’s first come first serve.

Exactly who is "Tesla?" Exactly what is "first come first serve?" Do we get to line up like we are buying the iPhone 12?

I'm skeptical of your post. Please expound.

There is another post on here how to get the numbers.

Update: as of February 15, 2020, the spreadsheet shows that there are approximately 522k+ Cybertruck reservations!

How to tell your place in line for the Cybertruck based on your order #:

"It's just a sequential number, starting at about 112744100. So subtract that from your number for your (approximate) place in line. Keeping in mind the rollout will be regional, so your position in line is only good for your rollout region."

Here is a spreadsheet being updated by Aaron showing inputted reservation orders and the # of reservations so far:

(Be patient, it takes a few seconds to load).

No. 341 and No. 342 contradict one another.

I think what he meant was that the initial date that you put down the $100 deposit doesn't really matter; what really matters is when you actually proceed and follow through with the real money when the truck is ready for you to configure with real payment, etc. Obviously the deposit order number does allow you to do it sooner vs later. Basically the $100 buys you the first right of refusal.
It does make sense because the purpose of offering $100 deposit is testing potential buyer crowd, gauging factory capital investment, stimulating wall street money pot, sizing up production capacity and so on. When Tesla really gets to pre-production and interact with those people that paid the deposit, that's when the true buyers emerge and teasers drop off the list. The whole thing gets shuffled and re-shuffled. Real money buys the real car, it's that simple.
