I bought a side by side from Kawaski. They gave me a free ball cap.
I bought a backup generator from Briggs and Stratton. They gave me a free ball cap (2 actually).
I bought a car from Tesla. I had to pay $25 for a ball cap.
When I leaned too far into the generator cabinet the fan sucked the Tesla ball cap off my head. I had to pay $25 for a new ball cap (and $1500 for a new fan).

I hear you about the ball caps and swag from many suppliers. I have so many that I purge at least once a year and give them away. You’re comment and point about the Tesla cap rings loudly. I so agree.
70 grand for a truck no swag...
6 bucks at the parts store, ball cap swag.
