If the CT is built in Texas would it not make logical sense to fill orders closest to the assembly plant?

So many unknown factors.

-I hear it's still illegal to sell a new vehicle in Texas except through a traditional dealership.

-Will the Texas-plant output go to Tesla service facilities, and will they determine who gets to buy? Will they get what they order (all CTs, presumably) or will they have to take a ratio of CTs to other models coming out of Austin?

-What distribution pattern will Tesla use? One poster suggested dispersion, so each CT will be seen by the most new eyes. Another thought that the area with the most customers would be served first. Several assume that Tesla employees will be at the head of the line.

-Will CTs be shipped by not only transport truck but by rail, air, sea, or a combo? Will a delivery surcharge be a profit-source -- such that there'll be no pickups at the plant? How many trucks will be in service, and how many CTs per truck? Might the freight-truck supposedly to be built in Austin start as a CT carrier model?

-If there are out-of-state pickups from the plant, how will insurance and registration be handled?

Unknowns within unknowns.
