Has anyone spotted the rear camera?

I have been trying to find the rear camera since the CT came out. It cannot be in the tailgate as it will not work with the bed down. It will not be below the tailgate either for angle of view and visibility when the tailgate is down. I have not seen it in the interior pictures and videos in the sloped back glass. It is not outlined in the stainless steel anywhere.

probably near the license plate. Plates are always visible from behind, and that area of the truck is black so pretty easy to hide.

Screenshot of rearview screen. From my guess when people standing appear in screen the camera is low on the bumper.

However regular trucks have a rear view mirror. The CT has a rear camera and no side mirrors either. This is why the rear camera placement is a question.

Sure can be in the tailgate. Pickups have them there now.
I'd prefer if it was in the bumper. I've backed up trucks with the tailgate down and it becomes usless (looking directly down at the ground). At least in the bumper you may be able to see the tailgate in the view and gauge the distance/see what's behind you.

And hooking up a trailer is much easier if you can see the hitch so hopefully the view can switch .

I would hope it would be located as high up on the roof (apex point) as possible so it would not be blinded by towing a trailer or with the tonneau cover down, just a thought. Maybe a secondary lens near the tow hitch/tag area would be a great help when hitching up a trailer. Like having your very own personal "Mone Back" as in "come mone back a little further".
