Front License Plate

For those states that require front license plates to be displayed. What is our plate holder/bracket display going to look like? Will it be placed out of the way of the battery inlet cooling grill?

Would also like a front/rear stainless steel bumper...

I haven't been using a front plate on either of our Teslas. We've had the MX for almost 3 years and I've never been pulled over. Our Model 3 has been pulled over once, but no ticket or warning was given. At least in MN, it's not really enforced...so I don't really have any plans to use one.

However, I have heard good things about The Bandit...so perhaps something similar can be used:

speaking of which... is there a way to see internal specs on the screen? things like coolent temp, battery balance state, age/ condition of oil's.

if it doesn't have a plate mount I'll tuck it by the windshield on the dash.

It Does look better higher. But I'll probably get black CA plates so they will blend in with the bumper

With the 1/8 " SS I would think you could drill and tap threads for mounting directly to the body like that Dids.

Colorado requires front and rear license plates except for motorcycles and trailers. I wonder how I can register it as a motorcycle... Hmm...

Maybe hang it off the bottom of bumper with some sort of stanless hinge. When you're booting along it flips up on its own.....
Yah, you'd probably get pulled over and told to fix it. Just having fun with different ideas.
Pisses me off that we have to have it, ruins the look of our Model 3, plus all the time Tesla puts into streamlining the design to make slippery.
