Did you see the card holder from Amazon I linked? You could have that with your key ring in your pocket. BTW, my 1989 SHO Taurus had a number pad on the door. That's so 30 years ago! :ROFLMAO:
My truck had the number pad on the door. I loved it. I could leave my wallet and keys locked in my truck while I went to work out. that way, I wasn't leaving my keys in a locker at the gym. unlocking with phone is great but I can't have that at work, either. I'm at work right now and have the key card in my wallet to get the MY open. I don't want to add another card to the four I already carry in my card holder for work.

I'll tell you something my dad used to say to me. "sounds like YOU got a problem". I'm sure you can find a solution that will work for you. (y)

I will. I suspect that you could use just about any NFC device to access the car if you assign it properly. Hmm. Anyone tried any non-Tesla NFC items to unlock their cars?

Would love to see front/passenger glass that is transitional like a pair of reading glasses. Clear at night and it automatically tints on blazing hot sunny days. It would also eliminate scratched and peeling tint film. I'm surprised that no manufacturer has offered this as a new car option unless it's technically not possible. Up the ante and make it dual pane for a quieter cab?

I believe this was previously mentioned but I would really like to have either factory installed tow hooks or a place to mount after market tow hooks.

Has there been any consideration regarding a winch?

So why does this all come suddenly to mind? I just had to get a farmer to pull my current truck out of a mud hole with his tractor. And I was going to suggest less aggressive tire for primarily highway/street use.

Not so much an accessory but ... Elon was teasing years ago about "Interactive Factory Tours" where for a fee you could see how everything goes together and maybe install the TESLA Badge on a vehicle. Take that idea one step further. I propose that when they build the new factory that they put a few extra lines that would be dedicated for customers with a suitable skill set to actually work side by side with the master mechanics and get in there and hand build your Cyber Truck over the course of 2-3 days. I sure wouldn't mind a full day tour and orientation. The camp style accommodations for the builders could just stay onsite. You'd get a video of your build and 'Certified Hand Built' documentation. Comments ??? I'd LOVE to spend my vacation time actually building my CyberTruck then driving it home !!!

Just expanding on #39 ... instead of a hook for a come along, why not a 2 tonne winch in the mid gate to assist pulling cargo up the ramp like Moose, Elk or other large game. Call it a “Game Changer” ... see what I did there ??? Hahahaha !!!

If the CT has an external speaker, why not have fun with it? We could make sound effects that are in sync with the throttle. You could make your CT sound like an Italian super car, a classic muscle car or even a Tron light cycle! How about a lion roaring when you hit the horn?!
Love that idea ... have it as a voice modulator. Have is change your voice to OPTIMUS PRIME or HAL (from 2001 a Space Odyssey) when speaking to pedestrians !!! To funny !!!

Heads up display, since you have to look to the right to see speed and nav. I would think this would be ideal for Tesla to build into their glass some special reflective one-way material and a great projector for the glass.

The following wishlist was first compiled by @TyPope. This post is now a "wiki post" and can be edited by all members, so add your wishlist items to the list!

It's a "comprehensive wish list" of things people would like to see in the Cybertruck that hasn't already been confirmed. These are things that are NOT already confirmed by Tesla.

Cybertruck Wishlist [add yours below]:
  1. Trailer brake controls
  2. 2" reciever on front and back built into the body. With access to the pin through a door in the rear of the bed and front trunk to put the locking pin in. This would make the attachments ie. trailer hitch, wench nearly theft proof.
  3. Solar wing. Gun safe. Accessible from outside.
  4. Cyber Trailer with battery to extend Cybertruck towing range.
  5. Solar Roof in addition to Solar Vault cover. The Solar Vault would add about 15 miles per day (per Elon). If adding a solar roof would add another 10 miles, it could take care of my 20 mile round-trip commute for most of the year!
  6. Heated AND cooled seats (all 6)
  7. Kneel-down for getting in/out of the Cybertruck
  8. Insulated frunk cooler (we know it has a frunk... let's make a cooler out of it!)
  9. Inclinometer
  10. Trail camera
  11. Tire inflation system
  12. Ability to pick one tire off the ground to make changing it easier. (independently controllable air shocks would do it.
  13. Free Supercharging (Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?)
  14. "Knight Rider" light across the front during charging.
  15. Autonomous trailer connection... Similar to Summon. You get it close to the tongue of the trailer, step out, and hit "Connect to Trailer" or something. It kneels down to get the ball under the trailer hitch, backs up appropriately, and then lifts up so that you can confirm a good connection, swing the tongue jack away, chain the trailer, and connect it electrically (including the Tesla trailer Camera which connects to the CT and lets you see behind the trailer like GM is showing in it's commercials now.
  16. Electro-chromatic glass for privacy and to help keep it cool when not occupied.
  17. Knight Rider style light that goes back and forth when charging, maybe...
  18. Access to pedestrian speaker. Enable music to be played outside.
  19. A HUD. Yes!
  20. A better dash
  21. rear wall can fold flat into cabin, level with the bed.
  22. Since the truck comes with a compressor. Make the rear seats air bags so they can be deflated for more room.
  23. rear seat bottoms can flop forward to create a large flat surface perfect for a mattress
  24. Four-Wheel Steering or at least a great turning radius
  25. Drain plug in the rear storage compartment in vault to use as ice chest if needed.
  26. Air Horn, since on board compressor.
  27. V2G (vehicle to grid please)
  28. Controls for the vault cover inside the bed so when using it for sleeping you can open up easily
  29. Four hundred plus miles for Dual motor AWD, HUD, and better dash.
  30. [Add yours to the list by clicking "Edit" button below]
  31. rear bed ready from factory for a Flush fit cyber hitch.com & maybe offered as a factory option.
  32. Matrix LED/laser auto highlights
  33. No cabin carpet or easily removed carpet with drain plugs so cabin can be washed out when (not if) it gets dirty.
  34. Small screens in the back of the left / Right seats. So passengers could watch movies, play games, surf the web, use misc apps. without bothering the driver (May be they should be forced to use Headphones to not disturb the driver) as well as their own climate controls and heated seat settings.
  35. A starlink (SpaceX internet service) antenna. Roving high speed internet everywhere!
  36. Quad-motor for additional towing capacity, quicker 0-60, and allow all wheels to operate independently to perform tank turns.
  37. Rocket thruster (similar to roadster but more important in a truck) to become un-stuck in mud or snow plus quicker 0-60.
  38. 120 plug in the front and rear storage boxes to plug a cooler in.
  39. Heavy-duty hook at the front of the box to attach a come-along or winch to for bringing things up the ramp.
  40. Sleeper chairs for front seats. Maybe also back seats.
  41. Animated overhead view of truck or truck and trailer while backing up
Rockets. Pass through option for 8ft lumber. 4 motors. More range than 500miles. Longer charging cable.

1. Robot to wash and plug-in CT, maybe help load vault and bring in groceries. (now that my kids are grown)
2. special lenses over the side/rear view displays to fake them into thinking what you see is far away and not a foot or so. -So the retina doesn't need to work so hard.'
3. fold flat rear seats for the dogs.

"On behalf of my colleagues at Tesla, I want to thank you for your suggestions you that are sure to improve the way we do things. I will raise them at our next executive meeting, and feel confident that they will be adopted. After all, we listen to the public, and are always grateful to be shown how to be better at what we do."

Really? Throughout the decade-long history of Tesla's designing, manufacturing, selling, and servicing a million vehicles, has anyone received a communication such as the above? If not, all the suggestions posted on this site are wishful thinking, not input that anyone at Tesla would care about. They do things their way.
