I think there is a way we can backtest the theory that this is a simple sequential numbering system.

We need to find someone who has a RN that was created as close as possible to elons '250k tweet. So 11/26 around 9pm. Doing the math on their number should put it somewhere in that range. I'm guessing that Elon was kind of waiting to hit that number before the tweet and I'm pretty sure he was checking it all day long. I think it's a good bet he sent that out within a few minutes (but not more than a couple of hours) after hitting the number.

Oh yeah, Looks like I'm 473,737 so I'd better start making room in my garage right away.

I reserved on 1/16 and was 473,737 so it looks like reservations were coming in at the rate of about 1k per day between us. If that holds then the 500k number will get crossed sometime early next week.

I'd love to see them announce opening a new Cybertruck plant somewhere in the Midwest or the South. I think it would help out a lot in the truck community in those places if they saw that their truck dollars weren't all going to California.

Reservation position 26,XXX for Single motor in Canada. I started to place the order as soon as it was announced during the reveal. Site glitched but successful within 5 minutes.

With the change in timeline for single motor, I will consider switching to dual motor at configuration time. Not sure if that will change my reservation position. Hope the CDN$ picks up by then!

Just joined the forum! I was curious as to my place in line as I ordered during the presentation. Looks like I am 12,642 for a Tri-Motor.

If "Tesla Cybertruck" is to be trusted, we're working off two different numbers here. They suggest 112,740,000, which would put me at 99,463 (tri-motor w/FSD) but this thread suggests using 112,744,100, which would put me at 95,363. So not only do I like this thread's suggested outcome better, but for the sake of consistency with the group I'll go with that. Even if the number here is wrong, we'll still have a better idea of where we stand in line with each other.

So I'm #54,210, ordered the morning (EST) after reveal. Based on Sandy Munro's video I believe it's entirely possible Tesla will tool up for 6 figure CT production.

Using 112,744,100 I'm at 13110 instead of 9010. If either turns out to be true then I'm still probably in the first 10k factoring in cancellations and location based release. I'm in CA so I'm hoping to be in the first few batches.
