They didn’t give me a tesla account when I ordered it, I went and made one but my order isn’t linked to my account. Fml

Tesla must be confident they can produce batteries at scale to meet demand. The tri motor testing must also be going well to say they will have it ready for end of 2021.

Time will tell, BUT Tesla has learned from their mistakes & has matured quickly as a HIGH TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, one that has their hands in many highly disruptive cookie jars. Recent examples show, as previously stated by Elon publicly, that all future dates will include some "Sandbagging" built in...

You must be new to Tesla and “Tesla Time”. Schedules are usually not based on reality or (known) laws of physics. Hopefully with five models (counting the original roadster) under their belt by the time the truck enters production they’ll be closer to the mark.

Model Y is rumored to be at least 6 months early.

Do you have to take your Tesla when it hits your reservation number in the production cycle or can you delay delivery?

I believe you can delay, as I saw on TMC (3 forum) that some folks delayed their delivery for various reasons.

I think the model S will get this Tri-motor setup in its Plaid edition first before CT so hopefully Tesla will have this new setup dial down by the time CT gets it...

That's my plan. I'm going to pick it up at the factory and drive it home. When they call to get me to purchase, it'll be one of my conditions
