Tri-motor, tricked out
I ordered on launch day (RWD) and then another the next morning (tai-motor), and then when they switched production order, I changed my RWD to dual motor. Place #26k in line. I initially hated the design and thought there's no way I'll get one, but for a $100 refundable deposit, decided to make a reservation anyway. I'm so glad that I did that, now..
Nice, you can ride your bike and pick yours up at the plant. Lucky You.

Hope I will be able to take Bruno (my old dog) for a ride in my CT. He promised he would wait........
In the same boat with my 13-year-old Aussie, he bears his teeth if you ask him to exit the vehicle at the house before taking him for a ride of any length. Pull into the drive and all is good, born to ride.

First the good news: Just saw a piece on Teslarati last night that says the depreciation on the 3 is the best for any car ever. Can't predict the future, though. Also in the good news department: you will be very glad you got the 3 now.

Now the bad news: you will not be able to turn it into an automated money machine. FSD is way too far off in the future (if it ever arrives and I have my doubts). If you want to make money with it you'll have to join up with Uber or Lyft and drive it.
Can't tolerate the rude drunks, I'd have them riding in the "vault" in no time, I'm sure Uber & Lyft would can me.

Just ordered dual battery with FSD. I’m about 698,000nth in line. Hopefully my 2010 gmc makes it another 4-5 years.

at the rate the FED is printing money the cybertruck will be at a great price when it starts to get delivered since I believed the price is locked in dollars, since after hyperinflation kicks in the 69000 dollar price will not be as high as it is now, I just hope they honor the pricing if inflation goes out of control. I think it will be worth the wait, in the mean time I will probably get a cheap truck.

I’m near 450,000th on the line. I won’t expect my CT til 2025. OK. Now will Tesla honor the original pricing? That’s the question.

I ordered the dual motor and would be willing to wait an extra year so that any potential bugs are worked out along with a few software updates to fine tune issues that owners find in the real world of everyday use.

When I ordered, around launch, I vaguely read some of the terms and stuff.
-Im 95% certain it said the prices are subject to change, your completely refundable no guarantee to buy $100"order" is just a place holder in line

This is from the pre order agreement.

Pre-Order Price, Taxes and Official Fees. The pre-order price of the Vehicle will be confirmed in your Vehicle Configuration? and Final Price Sheet. As you may have only configured part of your Vehicle, any pre-order price provided to you in advance of the Final Price Sheet is only being offered to you as an es?mate and is subject to change.

I'm a little confused. The Tesla website says that the dual and trimotor are 1st, then the single. Did it get changed and do we have a reference we believe over the Tesla website?

Correct. Tesla said Tri and Dual Motor first, then Single Motor. Typical Tesla, they only make the premium priced models available at first.

That’s why I upgraded my single motor to a dual.
I was able to justify this leap but not all the way to a tri.

Plus you’ll save $20k. Adding FSD and a few options will easily push a Tri Motor past $80k.
