AFAIK the PetroCanada stations have one or two 100 kW CHAdeMo and several CCS terminals . At this time Tesla users can use a CHAdeMO adapter to use the CHAdeMO side of these chargers.

Unfortunately it seems to be out of stock all the time. With any luck they'll fix this supply issue in the next two years. I'm keeping my eye on them next year to try and grab one preemptively since I'll have to rely on CHAdeMO charges quite often.

Yes, the Maritimes are kind of out there when it comes to superchargers. We did fine last summer betwee Baie St. Paul and Baie Commeau on the 50 kW CHAdeMOS but thats in a car with a battery that is probably less than half the size of the CT's and 3/5 the range. I keep looking at that Tesla Destination Charger at the Fogo Island Inn. I figure if I can get there I can go anywhere.

Keep checking on the CHAdeMO adapter. Stuff seems to pop in and out of stock unpredictably,

Turns out there is a reason for that and I just found out what it is by looking back at last summers charging records. Circuit Electrique charges less than the Super Chargers!

Slower yes-by about a factor of 3, but when there is no supercharger around-eg Beauce, chaudière Appalaches and côte nord, chademo is a life saver compared to the regular circuit électrique and flo snailcharge...

Sorry - I did not word that right. Circuit Electrique sells kWh for less than Tesla does. Yes, their charging rates (amperes) are lower but in many cases thats not an issue. Also heading out from QC along the north shore you are kind of out of luck WRT SCs past Baie St Paul.

I personally would wait until closer to your delivery time to see if Tesla puts out a CCS adapter for the CT. The CHAdoMe, at least for the M3 is limited to 50kW but in reality I only see about 38 kW reaching my M3. 20-80% is typically greater than an hour and the cost is near double of a SC. It is useful in a pinch, but not my first choice.

I am hoping the CCS adapter will be available soon in the US.
