  1. Elon Cybertruck Bobblehead

Looks like Don Ho, doesn't it?
  2. Cybertruck Options VS Standard Equipment

I agree, but I wonder if they will option down the CT to meet the price points that were announced. Hell, you can't get new $40k pickup truck with four doors with standard anything! My neighbor just bought a Ram 1500, 4wd, 4 door, for $55k plus taxes. Basically $60k. Ouch.
  3. TSLA hits $800 per Share. Elon richest man on Earth

Who would guess that tossing $10k into TSLA would actually pay for my CT? Incredible.
  4. TSLA hits $800 per Share. Elon richest man on Earth

TSLA hits $800 per Share. Elon richest man on Earth Whoa.
  5. Tesla now selling Tequila!

Did everyone get their Tesla Tequila? I'm still bummed that I could not get my order to complete. Did anyone in Connecticut or Mass get an order placed?
  6. Cybertruck Options VS Standard Equipment

Well, I know the last Ram dually I purchased came from the factory with a 10k receiver but I still had to pay for the "Tow Package". Not sure who buys a dually without a receiver but that didn't stop Dodge from charging me for it. Keep in mind that manufacturers make a higher margin on...
  7. Cybertruck Options VS Standard Equipment

Forgot one Optional: Street tire / wheel combo
  8. Cybertruck Options VS Standard Equipment

Well, I think the tri motor drive train WILL be the Plaid setup, just detuned for the CT. 0 to 60 in under 2.9 seconds is certain Plaid-esque. Why the tri motor is half the price of the MS Plaid is hard to grasp.
  9. Cybertruck Options VS Standard Equipment

What's the consensus on CT options vs standard equipment? My thoughts Option: Tow package with integrated brake controller Option: Winter package (heated seats and steering wheel) Option: Solar tonneau cover (already confirmed) Option: Premium interior Option: Premium sound Standard...
  10. Video: Top 5 Features Needed on the Cybertruck

I'm sure it'll have a integrated trailer brake controller included with the tow package. I do wonder if the tow package will be extra, though. I imagine it will be an option.
  11. Anyone Believe the Cybertruck will do well on Turo?

Insurance is difficult. Since the vehicle is leased it's not under my direction, but the insurance is specifically for this type of business. But sufficient to say, I agree, it's a different animal. The warning is still valid, there are people and companies that want to separate you from your...
  12. Anyone Believe the Cybertruck will do well on Turo?

I had a small claim against a business last year. Their business insurance spent 9 months denying the claim even though I had a VIDEO of the incident, clearly and plainly showing their employee doing the damage to my vehicle. Eventually I won the claim but it took almost a year to see the money.
  13. Anyone Believe the Cybertruck will do well on Turo?

Not sure it's apples to apples, but I lease vehicles. Commercial insurance is very expensive and VERY specific. I have one vehicle that the insurance costs $19k a year, and each driver has a background and drivers licence approval process. And I say "commercial" insurance because any other...
  14. Jim Glickenhaus challenges Elon Musk to a Cybertruck showdown in the Baja 1000

Dido above. The CT would have to compete in a "stock" class for it to be considered a realistic "test" of it. Taking a Ford Raptor and replacing everything but the Ford emblem isn't really a test of a Ford Raptor. But I know the race has a stock class, so why not try it out? The CT with 37s...
  15. Tesla Cybertruck is Really Efficient! [Nxt Garage Analysis]

Hi CJ I had to speak up on this one. Not criticizing you or anyone. Tire pressure has everything to due with suspension setup. I race motorcycles and for many years raced Porsche 911s. I manage a fleet of tractor trailers and motor coaches. I spend $60k/yr on tires. Let me tell you...
  16. Cybertruck and Semi together?

I have turned a Volvo tractor and a Champion NHRA trailer into a registered "RV" for a client. It was simple, actually. No CDL required. And yes, it's a full 53' trailer with a front lounge, shower, toilet, TV, heat, AC, etc. It also has room for three cars! So go ahead and buy your Tesla...
