It looks as if there may be more than one prototype.

If you take a look at the welding flaw on this first picture, you can plainly see that it does not exist on the truck that Jay Leno and Elon are driving in.

I had to search to find this original thread that was brought up and faded away in June. OF COURSE THERE ARE WAY MORE THAN ONE PROTOTYPE!!!
There seems to be a lot of confusion here about this, so here's a great article about how it works.

I don't see any difference.

I wouldn't expect more than one full-finished unit working at any one time.

There appears to be at least 2.
A shiny chrome like one, as in the battery day one.
And a much more matt or greyish one.

Yes it's been confirmed on twitter that there are at least 2 Cybertrucks. No one is sure if there are more yet
