Well, it's a type of lamination, and the windows on the Prototype were laminated, so... Probably?

The new Model 3/Y windows seem to be dual paned for noise isolation, and that is great. The CT windows are armored glass, which is a laminate but not the same as the 3/Y windows.

The 'dual pane' Tesla glass is a type of laminate. One placed where laminates aren't usually used, for an additional purpose than safety.

I think he's referring to the new windows that started shipping with double pane windows as seen below. IMO, the CT will have different glass all together that is stronger, so no need for the double pane.

They are not double pane for strength. They are using the material interface as insulation to limit heat/sound transfer from inside to outside or vice versa.
