It’s illegal to sell guns to the mentally ill. Maybe make it more ilegaller?

The mentally ill student who committed a mass murder at my university while I was on campus bought his guns legally, despite being declared a threat to himself and others by a Virginia (USA) court.

Also, many of the mentally-ill mass shooters use improperly secured weapons owned by family members.

So, yeah, we need to make giving/selling guns to the mentally ill even more illegaller.

Mandatory gun safe usage would be a good idea as well -- even though the EDC crowd will tell us all that we cower in fear at the very thought of properly securing deadly weapons in out homes. ??‍

Australia has largely solved the mass-shooting problem, despite having a large abd dispersed rural population. We could learn a thing or two from them -- and the Canadians, as well.

Both Australia and Canada are larger, more rural, and safer than the United States.
