Very well said. And good point about Tesla keeping options to a minimum to speed up the production line. I hadn't considered that.If past order forms are any indication there wont by much to customize. Go look at the current lineup you can only change, paint, interior color (and layout in some cases), wheels, FSD, and tow package (which may be standard on the CT). That's about it. Most everything else is standard equipment (IE seat heaters, power windows, etc.)
I don't expect the CT to come with too many factory options. Too many options means too many variations they have to accommodate on the production line which will drive up costs.
I do expect a robust aftermarket options though for things like brush guards, winches, 5th wheel hookups, etc.
Back in the day you could order your '69 Firebird with a list of about 50 different options, including with or without AC, with or without a 4 speed, posi, vinyl top, buckets, etc etc.
