What features won’t be standard on the tri-motor and what do you think full spec will cost?

If past order forms are any indication there wont by much to customize. Go look at the current lineup you can only change, paint, interior color (and layout in some cases), wheels, FSD, and tow package (which may be standard on the CT). That's about it. Most everything else is standard equipment (IE seat heaters, power windows, etc.)

I don't expect the CT to come with too many factory options. Too many options means too many variations they have to accommodate on the production line which will drive up costs.

I do expect a robust aftermarket options though for things like brush guards, winches, 5th wheel hookups, etc.

Very well said. And good point about Tesla keeping options to a minimum to speed up the production line. I hadn't considered that.

Back in the day you could order your '69 Firebird with a list of about 50 different options, including with or without AC, with or without a 4 speed, posi, vinyl top, buckets, etc etc.

So I would really like some options on the Tri motor to make the Tri motor a hard core smack down to diesel trucks. Duel tires on the back axel. Load leveling airbag suspension, factory 5th wheel hitch (or fully prepped for 5th wheel minimum). Software to handle trailer breaking management. And on the would be very cool list would be the following: the ability to charge from solar on roof of trailer(while underway); ability to integrate trailer battery pack into vehicle power pack; ability to have regeneration breaking on trailers.

Agreed. Hopefully we can curb some expectations because the cybertruck is not a replacement for diesel 3/4 tons. I mean I’m replacing one but I dont have to haul 15,000 lbs further than 40 miles a day. Mostly shorter than that even and it’s seasonal. The rest of that $70k goes toward “cybertruck go brrrr” and HOPEFULLY a nicer adaptive suspension. The trophy truck comparisons have me really intrigued and I hope this thing ends up being somewhat like a Ford Raptor suspension wise

I’ll also add one other caveat compared to 3/4 diesels which is the resale value. I think my Silverado is worth the same as I bought it a year ago and a first gen cybertruck has depreciation written all over it. I’m worried in 3 years I’ll have done an honest section 179 on it lol

That would be excellent! Just run air conditioning through the frunk with the option to have AC go nowhere else. That way you won’t freeze the cabin or drain the battery just to keep your food cold.

You could run the coils there directly but not send so much blower past the coils into the cabin. Octovalve, baby.
