Seriously ~ what an incredible truck bed!

I, and many, would like to know the approximate dimensions of the vault.

  • Length = 78"
  • Width = 57"
    • via motor trend
  • Height at cab = 44" ?
    • F150 has a height from the bed floor to the top of the cab of approximately 44"
  • Height at gate = 22?
  • Vault internal volume = 84 cu ft?

  • Frunk, Side pillars, and under bed storage compartments = 16 cu ft
    • Frunk internal volume?
      • Model X frunk = 8.3 cu ft

  • ~ Vault internal side compartments?
  • ~ Sail pillars?
  • ~ T-slots?
  • ~ Roof rack mounting
  • ~ Incredible potential for aftermarket attachments?!?!?!
    • ~ I have to know the exact details about those auxiliary attachments slots
  • ~ Midgate?
  • ~ Climate

What else do we want to know about the CYBRTRK vault?

I had forgotten about that motor trend article. I updated the thread but it is just so hard to believe that with an 80" wheelbase width, you could squeeze 57" out of the space between the wheel housings. 255 tires are 10.5 inches wide X 2 = 21" which only leaves one inch of combined clearance and steal wall. But you know they're workin magic in that design studio. I guess maybe its wider than 80"?

The reservation site for Cybertruck says the volume of the vault is 100 cubic feet

  • VERSATILE UTILITY
    VAULT-LIKE STORAGE

Space for your toolbox, tire and Cyberquad, with room to spare. Utilize 100 cubic feet of exterior, lockable storage — including the under-bed, frunk and sail pillars.
Cheers

That 100 cu ft includes all lockable external storage, so the frunk, sail pillars and the under bed trunk. It's not clear how large the frunk will be
