Rear passthrough possible

In case anyone is having a hard time understanding why some of us think the tonneau cover may keep this from happening, here is a link that should better explain:

Depends on how far it retracts, if it can be engineered to retract below the vault, a fordable pass-through possible. Maybe have to choose if want cover deployed or not before folding down seat backs. Think Tesla engineers can do it. Would be terrific for camping!

Tambour. Another name for the roll up cover.
The tambour appears to be pushed from somewhere under the window. I am guessing there are two sprockets that engage in holes at the very ends of each tambour slat. The bushings that accept the teeth of the sprockets could also be slightly proud of the slat surface and act as slide rollers in the track visible in the sails. The sprockets are either just under the rear window or engage at the exit of the canister that rolls the tambour.
The tambour is outside the rear cab bulkhead which is likely structural. The bed of vault has a front wall from which the tambour exits.
If the vault is visible through the rear window when the tambour is covering the vault then there must be short sections of the slats at the end of the tambour that allow for the window opening and continuous engagement of the sprockets. A good design would have the sprockets on an long axle with a single drive.
A pass-thru is possible if the rear Bulkhead wall is reinforced and the opening is about the width of the window. It would probably make sense to have the window hinged so it folds down and is nested in a fold down wall that folds inwards on top of the folded seats. This would just leave a section of the front of the vault bed that would need to lay flat in or out.

While all this is possible it may just be easier to have the rear window enlarged downwards a few inches and it could be raised/lowered. The pass through would then be suitable for long things but not as a open extension between the vault and rear seat.

BTW, the Tambour may not be rolled up in a canister but lie flat just under the bed and up against the utility box.
