And if you left home with 75% charge and used 54.17 % you would arrive at the campsite with 20 .83%. IOW what you will experience will depend on what you do. The messages being that you have to pay attention to what you do and you have to do a little arithmetic if you are planning to get charge from a facility that provides but 2 - 7 miles range per hour. You will have to learn how to do this if you are going to be able to use the vehicle properly. I fear that this apparently nationwide phobia of even simple math may have an effect on Tesla's ability to sell these things (and their other products as well) once the "geek" market is saturated.

Hoping that the truck computer can calculate the range while towing the trailer. Then show map of all RV parks and campgrounds within range. Don't mind spending a couple days camped out waiting for it charge.

It estimates range dependent on the average (over the last 5, 20 or 30 miles) or current instantaneous energy consumption. If you have put in a waypoint it estimates the SoC at each point along your route, including the destination, and is able to take terrain into account in that case. It will do this whether the trailer is attached or not. If you drive to a campground and use 1000 W/mi (not unreasonable towing a trailer that weighs about the same as the truck) and have 100 kWh of charge left it will tell you that you have 100 miles range left if you use the historical consumption. But some displays will tell you the rated range which would, in this case, be 200 miles as the rated consumption is going to be about 500 Wh/mi. So you will have to be careful if you are in a situation (trailering, heawind, rain, positive grade) where consumption is appreciably higher than rated. You will learn how to do this pretty quickly.
