Sort of? Convinced myself I no longer needed the '99 Dodge Ram so I could sell it and buy a Model 3. So far OK after 9 months. Now I'm trying to talk myself back into the CT. Building my use cases!

Yup, 02 Ranger 4x4. Not my DD but a very dependable utility vehicle and off-roader.

Will replace my 2002 Ram 2500 diesel and my 2016 Honda civic and be my new daily driver. I commute 150 miles a day....so a million mile battery is very exciting.

Replacing a 2000 F150 XLT 4x4 that I barely use. It's just for hauling stuff on the rare occasion I need to. Only paid $1500 for it and can probably sell it for $3K if I recharge the AC. Model 3 goes to the wife, if she'll take it. She bashes on Tesla all the time, but drives it every chance she gets. When I chide her about, it's always "I don't have to put gas in it". The irony is lost on her.

Replacing a 2017 Honda Ridgeline AWD. It will be exactly the same piece of obsolete technology when I sell it, as it was when I bought it.

So this is exactly what I'm dealing with. My Dodge Ram was just sitting there most of the time, mainly because driving it around town at 9 MPG didn't make sense when we had a Scion that got 30 MPG (and a LOT peppier!).

In reality, and this is how I justified trading it for the Model 3, I can rent a UHaul pickup for $20/day.

OTH..... driving the CT "just around town", powered by solar panels, won't have the same impact (environment and wallet) as the old Dodge did.

So yeah, I'm torn... :)

2007 Nissan Xterra. Not exactly a heavy duty truck but I got a LOT of utility out of it in addition to being the daily driver.
