The Tesla is better at adjusting for traction.
The real point of these is showing these EV's are very capable and have a lot of power.
And the P100D Model X can tow fine. For those rare very long trips towing, a truck with a large gas tank can go further more conveniently. But most tow trips aren't that far and one supercharger visit wouldn't be bad and also cost a lot less fuel wise.
For many use cases, the Cybertruck would get the job done. A few edge cases , and also depending on preferences, would still be a heavy duty truck. Still the Cybertruck is meant to compete with the F150. The Tesla semi shows Tesla could also do a heavier duty truck later.
This is a fine edition to the Tesla family and just imagine the other trucks and SUV's that could be built in this style.
It's a great start!
