Not surprisingly, it looks like reservations have slowed down to less than 1,000 a day. If the spreadsheet can be trusted between 3/20 and 3/29 there were about 7,000 new reservations.

I'm really curious how many people were never very serious about it and have now taken back their $100. I would expect most are planning to keep their spot and see how things shake out over the next couple years.

Net Reservation Number that is quoted takes into account cancellations which accounts for the difference between raw position in line and predicted position in line. However, as a caveat, Tesla has been re-using cancelled reservation numbers - in those cases 'Net Reservation Number' will be misleading. This plot may be helpful in correlating where you might be in line given your date of order.

Administrator Update: As of March 30, 2020, the reservations spreadsheet (reference it below) shows 622k+ Cybertruck reservations since pre-ordering began on November 21, 2020!

The last time Elon Musk disclosed Cybertruck reservation figures was on November 26, 2019 when he tweeted that 250k pre-orders had been received. That means approximately 372k orders have been received since his last update.

To compare, the Model 3 received around 518,000 total reservations between its unveiling in April 2016 and August 2, 2017 (when Musk disclosed the gross reservation figure on Tesla’s Q2 2017 earnings call).

How to tell your place in line for the Cybertruck based on your reservation #:

Your order numbers is just a sequential number, starting at about 112744100 (the number that reservations began). So subtract that from your number for your (approximate) place in line. Keeping in mind the rollout will be regional, so your position in line is only good for your rollout region.

Here is a spreadsheet being updated by Aaron showing inputted reservation orders and the approximate # of reservations so far:

I've now seen an order number of 113371000 @10:44 PM CST on Twitter. The Twitterer said "OK, I caved, #Cybertruck The total number of reservations is then 113371000 - 112744299 = 626,700. "

Within a few seconds of the close of the live reveal, I was online attempting to order. I first tried to order a TriMotor, and it gave me an error after a long period following my payment info submission. Then I tried Dual Motor thinking strangely there might be a problem with TriMotor order conditions, but same error displayed in browser. Waited a few minutes and tried ordering a Trimotor. Fail. Tried again. Same error. One last time, a TriMotor attempt finally succeeded. That night, I had five emails come in as follows:

I promptly sent in requests to cancel three of those. Which means three of my RN numbers have been nullified. Finally, I plan to cancel either the Dual Motor or TriMotor order that I still have pending, once I decide which one I really think I need. So, unless someone has some inside info on the undoubtedly substantial number of cancellations owing to the same ordering errors that I encountered, this number you all speak of has a substantial but unknowable(?) margin of error.

I'm listed in the range of roughly number 170,000. Still too many variables like how many of those in the calculation are single motor because they will still wait longer even if they ordered early on due to dual and tri motors producing/delivering first

If you have a really low number but are ordering a single-motor version without FSD, you will be waiting much longer than someone who has a much higher number but ordered the tri-motor version with FSD.

A better number to see would be the number of tri-motor w/FSD orders that are before mine. Hopefully, there will be a solar option that is reasonably priced as well and THAT could change things up as well.

I ordered the dual motor with full self drive and if I calculated correctly my number is 173,283, but like you said - trim, motor, model etc will be more of a determinant
