Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

Looks like I am about # 68.200 on the list but I ordered a single motor and these will most likely be made last after the two & three motor Cybertrucks are made. Texas will be the fist to get the Cybertruck most likely and California & N.Y. will probably be later.

So even though I am going to Show & demonstrate the Cybertruck at major tourist spots around Southern California when I receive it I suspect at about order # 68.200 that would put me about 16 months out from when production starts before I get it, the reason I suspect that late or later is because I ordered a single motor and live in Southern California and not Texas with a two or three motor Cybertruck. I did hope because I was about 68.200 That I would get it in about 6 months after production started. I will have to wait and see.

If what you meant to say is that you have reservation number 68,200 then you will be in the first year for sure. I cannot imagine Tesla not being able to get less than 70,000 CTs out in one year. That isn't even 6,000 per month (less than 200 per day, 8 per hour) on average. At full speed, with all of the extra complexity, we know that Tesla can make 1,000 Model 3s a day. It could take a year for Tesla to ramp up CT production but I wouldn't be surprised to see 10,000 per month pretty quickly.

What you say is absolutely correct! but after I ordered my Truck I went back and noticed if you click " Single Motor RWD" to order it then go to the bottom of the page just under the "DUE TODAY $100"
it says .... "Fully refundable, you will be able to complete your configuration as production nears in late 2021. Single Motor RWD production is expected to begin in Late 2022" Note the "Late 2022" and this puts it a Year past the two & three motor CT orders.

I think it is so hard to tell with these estimates.

Example.

I am 700,000+ in line. But only 200,000+ for tri-motor.
Now also factor in that:

1)I think the pre-order wasn't location locked meaning there are non north american reservations that won't be filled
2)some ppl ordered more than one configuration
3)$100 is nothing for a commitment, especially refundable. $70,000+ for a fully loaded tri-motor is a big chunk of change and I bet plenty of orders get dropped
