I designed a concept home with the following purposes.

- Garage for parking and maintenance of the Cybertruck camper.
- Solar power generation on the roof for charging the Cybertruck.
To get as much solar energy as possible, To obtain a large amount of solar panel installation area,
The roof shape was designed as a shed roof (the whole roof is inclined to one side).
- ESS installation to store solar power.

This reminds me of one of the houses I lived in as a child! The garage was attached to the house with a walkway to the second story, and half of its roof was flat, for a sun-deck.

The house's second floor was all open to the lower floor, like a loft, except the bedrooms.

You might want to tilt the solar to have maximum during a specific season or time of day based upon your location, but I do like how the gap between the buildings is maximized for winter rather than becoming a cold gap.

For instance, in California, our grid hits peak early in the afternoon, so maximizing afternoon sun is key. But if you're somewhere colder, you might want to maximize winter noon. And if you were in the desert, it might be that summer noon would be took hot for the panels and they'd peak out due to temperature, so optimizing for winter would make them more resilient to that.

Where do you want to cut back?
Which place is best to cut back?
I’m actually in the process of designing the next house and would love to incorporate enough Solar to charge on D.C. but Home owners Assoc has too many restrictions and TSLA not in my state
