I think it would be nice to have the capability to use a keyboard with the screen in the CT. As a business owner who has to carry a computer or a tablet with me each day to do things like invoices at each stop, it would be nice to go in my truck and use the browser with the keyboard to send my invoices and ditch the extra weight. What do you all think?

This is an excellent idea. With a holster somewhere for the keyboard when not needed. In fact I could see the day some people start telecommuting from inside their CTs. Wake up, get coffee, walk into the garage and you're at work...

And all while sitting in the outside lane doing the legal speed limit.

Since Tesla supports bluetooth game controllers, not sure why that would not be feasible. One of the better suggestions I have seen!

Why not use voice commands and diction as an input?

Thanks, it is a 2007 with about 54K. We have ridden to 45 states and hope to get to the remaining 5 once the current quagmire is over.

Great suggestion but I use dictation on my computer and it’s not the best.
Dictation is not always the right answer, and when I drove a company van around, having a fullsize keyboard to type up service tickets, etc, would have made the job so much easier.

You both bring up points. I can definitely see a couple of different use cases,

Obviously, but sitting at a supercharging station would make productive use of time
Never even thought of that. That’s so true because when I get home I do not want to do anything!

If it sees a BT game controller, does it see a BT keyboard already? Anyone try it (on an existing Tesla)?
It shouldn’t be too hard to do this. Nice idea!
