Indeed, provided the load has wheels to enable you to roll it up the ramp.... but even then, my wood splitter would be quite awkward without it. A lifting tailgate brings safety and convenience.

Would be very handy for the tradesman who carrys heavy loads. On and off would be a breeze without risking your back! Its all about safety!
