In another thread there is a discussion about CT HP (horse power).
Every time there is a new post there and the thread shows up I read the HP as Hit Points.
Now if I think of the CT in terms of hit points, I have to rate it way at the top of the charts. Like serious warrior territory. What’s...
So I had started a thread about Tesla calling to ask me if I wanted to get another Tesla while I waited for my CT to come in. Along the way though the thread started getting more detailed about the price of trade in ICE vehicles when upgrading to a Tesla.
Plus I've been listening to various...
Anyone think that the CT might be the perfect vehicle for going to Burning Man? Would certainly be able to get there no problem. The solar panels (and hopefully supplemental solar panels) would provide a good charge so sleeping at night could be climate controlled. Plus one would have a nice...
Munro has a new video up today that is an interview with Malcolm Bricklin regarding a new Bricklin 3EV.
Kind of a curious intro to yet another 3 wheel EV that it looks like Munro is starting to work with. The 2 others that I know about being the Arcimoto and the Nobe.
Its interesting to see...
Apparently, my CT order made me a candidate for the local Tesla sales guy to call me and ask if I was interested in taking an M3 test drive while I wait for the CT. He was suggesting an M3 lease might be interesting. LOL. Unfortunately for him, I'm working to save for the CT pretty exclusively...
There seems to be so much space available in the dash/center console areas of the CT that I'm guessing it would be possible and probably cool to build out one's own custom dash or console. Looking through YouTube I only see videos of people trying to make their old ICE vehicle dash look like a...
For those of you who do a lot of overlanding or off-roading, do you use What3Words at all? I would imagine that communicating locations off the beaten path with W3W would be easier than using GPS coordinates. Easier to tell someone where you are or where to meet.
Not sure if regular trail...
I was thinking, it would be nice if my CT would track all the driving I'd done off-road and show me both the tracks that I had not yet experienced but also the tracks I'd taken. I'd like to have a community of people with recommended trails to drive plus notes on what to do/see on the trail...
Anyone up for Crystal Rhinestone Valve Caps?
Not sure how long these will stay on if one goes off-roading though. Probably will turn into a choking hazard for an armadillo.
Any other interesting accessories people have seen out there?

So Teslarati has an article:
Tesla brings back AM and FM radio with retrofit, but for a price
This makes me wonder. Is the radio using digital receiver? Or the old analog radio receiver? I'd prefer a digital or both a digital and analog receiver.
And I didn't know that Tesla had SiriusXM...
Do Tesla vehicles come with a cigarette lighter? Or just the 12v cigarette lighter outlet? Had me wondering. Seems like an outdated feature.
I was thinking about needing a reliable way to start a campfire with the CT. All that electricity there should be something wicked cool that would be good...
Does anyone think the SharkWheel might end up making for a good truck tire? Especially for off-roading and rock climbing.
SharkWheel is currently used primarily for skates and skateboards but seems to be expanding into some larger sizes. In fact, in the video below they actually have an example...
SpaceX rolls out Starlink “Better Than Nothing Beta” in the US and Canada

SpaceX has officially begun rolling out what it’s deemed a Starlink internet “Better Than Nothing Beta” across the United States and Canada.
The culmination of a mere 11 months of...
So I was wondering. Back in the day kids would often ride in the back of pickups. It's a horribly dangerous place to sit in regular pickups. And there used to be a Subaru Brat vehicle that had 2 rear-facing seats in the "truck" bed.
In the case of the CT, what are the chances that one could...
Came across this graph that shows the safety statistics of Tesla Autopilot as published by Tesla:
I'm pulling this from a YouTube video below starting at 5:32:
The stats are interesting but do not really show the actual safety difference between autopilot and non-autopilot. The video goes...
So when we see the stats on approach angle, departure angle, and break over; are these stats at the default air shock height? If we are able to lower or raise the truck by inflating or deflating the shocks, won’t that change those angles? Shouldn’t there also be a measure of max approach angle...
So now with the FSD beta showing up, I’m curious how much of a road it requires in order to work successfully.
For instance, will FSD work on:
quarter mile section dirt roads of rural farming communities
forest management roads through federal lands
Rough cut wild roads through pasture land...
OK. I was curious about the Baja 1000 so started watching some YouTube videos.
For example:
So now I'm curious... Is EM saying that CT is supposed to be competitive with the Trophy Trucks? If so, all I have to say is:
Holy Expletive, Batman!!!!!! This is serious!!
I mean the Jeep rock...
