Of all those trucks how many are as large as the CT? Although there are bigger trucks of the same one they usually are the smaller version. Besides the price of a smaller vs a bigger. It's easier to use a smaller when going to customers location. I could see many companies experiment with a few...
So I am hearing landscaping and snow. Snow I'm sure would definitely need a Dual version. Landscaping would not need 4x4 but need lots to tow the dirt away so that may be a Tri motor. Others were logistics so this are Van's not trucks.
Please let me know if I'm missing anything on why a company...
Anyone else notice the screen and Yoke size ratios? Looked like the Yoke is bigger than the screen. Personally I think the S and X need a minimum of 17in screen and the CT minimum of 21in.. dreams...
Think about it this way, the solar may help with miles. But when your camping it should be enough to charge the Quad, induction top, or other power needs. I have a 400 watt panel on my Suburban with a 5.2k Tesla module running off a 3k Pure inverter. And that is plenty of juice camping in the...
Now that Single would be coming out last instead of first, due to demand. By the time the single would come out the eF150 *should* be out and this that would be Tesla's competitor. And no longer the ICE F150.
I'm not saying don't get the Single, I'm just looking at history and timeliness of...
Or remove the single motor and have only dual and tri. As I thought he said at start 300... like other models no says there will be a single motor... then later removing it. For those that say a smaller CT is ok, or that trucks are too big as is.. I'm assuming are currently not Truck owners...
Trim and your location. Quicker sale if your closer to factory. Just speculation from my part.
I am waiting but have to be realistic as well. I waited way too long (24 hours) so I am later on the list...
Or maybe the Roadster/CT/Semi are 48v as they are on new platforms. But the things to keep in mind are what uses the 12v/48v rails.. Lights, phone chargers, MCU, airbags, seat retentions, radio, breaks, etc.. If all are made in house then they may be able to be engineered to 48v. But if any...
My off reading will be on the sand dunes, our camp site is right next to the ocean. Only one way to get there is driving through the sand maze. Sand is much more difficult to drive on.. Can't wait :sneaky:
Older article but still a great read and great pictures. Learned a bit more on its battery and range in different conditions. Would love to due a side by side with CT in same conditions...
I believe AP and FSD is geofenched by state/provence level not by city or town level like other solutions are. Some countries in Europe AP/FSD is allowed and others its not due to regulations. I could be wrong but this is what I last recalled in that matter. Just like anything on the...
I've asked this on Twitter many times, though I'm a small fry still no response. I've asked specifically for the Tri as it *may* have two packs. Thus it would make sense. Cables are plenty long enough for my application as I only park backwards.... Marks it for an easier get away ;-)
Maybe up till recently they haven't been using all 8 for FSD? I am not sure, but I do know a lot of people have been doing testing with FSD and AP to see how far it goes by taking out 1 camera at a time. Found that the main front camera is doing the bulk of the work..
