If you look at your order, at the bottom there is an option to edit your order. The only difference might be that the cost of FSD has gone up, so I don’t know if changing tp add that feature would be at the cost of FSD at the time of your original order or the more current price.
When they start...
I was actually looking at the plastic Ip for painting an r2d2, thinking it would make it easier to change colors later. It doesn’t peel off easily until you get an edge started.
I may dO a wrap after I start seeing CTs “everywhere” and want to differentiate it.
If it sees a BT game controller, does it see a BT keyboard already? Anyone try it (on an existing Tesla)?
It shouldn’t be too hard to do this. Nice idea!
I always expected my next car (or vehicle) would be electric and have a head-up display.
After watching Tesla and determining that I wanted one, I was surprised there was no HUD option. Even worse, the display is offset, forcing you to look away from the road for any information.
Now the...
Well, I have removed the badges on the back of every car I have had, but not the one on the grill (usually because of the hole that would be left and indecision over what to make to revil it).
I don’t mind the little “T” logo on the front, nor do I mind advertising a brand I like or believe in...
Oh yeah, to the original topic:
I love that transparent aluminum actually exists, but I don’t think it has been used practically yet.
Last time I looked for it, the cost was prohibitive, producing it in large sizes difficult and the clarity wasn’t there.
Now, I Don’t know about the cost, but...
Wow, I honestly thought this was a joke!
How did I miss the videos and discussions about this?
I had started to think about how this would be done, but it seemed that the power necessary would be prohibitive. Plus, in actual rain, it seemed like turning oncoming droplets into small bursts of...
I was just looking for these, from the partial tunnel here in Southern California. I had big -lans and even considered building up rhe walls of a carport for mt CT.
I was unable to find any information about them being available and didn’t look for Vegas bricks. Maybe they have. Use for them...
I think it is better to have those more expendable parts be easy to remove and replace.
If they were part of the body and SS, damage to them would be far more difficult/expensive to service. I was relieved to see that the fender flares were (or might be) replaceable. If they turn out to be too...
Hah! That made me laugh out loud. I *love* the idea of “laser wipers” for the CT!
It it so over-the-top, I am going to start telling people that that is what it will have!
Wouldn’t it have been there for display on battery day? Might have been getting recharged or tweaked while it was back at the factory.
I would also guess they have a few of them, it looks like the on pictured has silver fender flares, not black...
Edit: just saw the Rest of the posts, and that...
I think they found that mud, snow, debris, etc. just don’t stick because the tweel deforms (like a tire) as it rotates and anything trapped gets pushed out. I hope they are light enough. I will want to reduce rolling weight as much as possible.
I’m expecting to wait for the Weathertech option as well. For scuba, hopefully opening the roll-top cover, unloading tank, bc, etc. and then sliding in, closing the cover, changing and moving into the cab through a pass-through will work nicely.
otherwise, maybe covering the rear seat bench with...
I would guess, given the demand, they’ll give you a window of time 24-48hrs to submit payment or accept their financing options or lose your place.
Best bet might be to find someone behind you in line and swap places, so if the times comes, you buy it for yourself or for the swap counterpart...
Polishing the top should make it cooler as it reflects sun/heat. Not much metal on the roof though, so maybe a roof visor that is reflective? I may actually do something (decal or other) to make the hood as dull as I can so the Sun won’t reflect off it, right at me when it is lower in the sky...
What? They float don’t they? You know, Elon bought the submarine Lotus from “The Spy Who Loved Me” - Maybe that was his prototype?
As for the charging attendant, they would on;y need to plug the car in and unplug it when done. This could be a job for a courier or a commuter, they could get an...
I wouls think they are rubber, like crocs. Interesting graphics on the shirt and pants!
looks fun, but I would also stop at the shoes.
i haven’t tried on a pair of crocs, but my kids loved them, maybe they are comfortable?
As pointed out above, I also like the subtle advertising. They really...
Well, I am a shareholder (very small amount) and my wife is as well, having moved some of her 401k into Tesla stock. Neither of us has heard anything about this, nor would we support it.
as stated above, seems like a similar situation to Apple and Steve Jobs - many people said he was a tyrant...
