I was thinking of the proportional steering being speed-dependent. As stated above, if you are going at highway speed, you don’t want to suddenly make a sharp right turn. If you are making a U-turn, you are likely going 20mph or less, depending on how much space you have.
I like the idea of a...
Yeah, that is just factual data. Take a peek at pictures of glaciers going back as far as they have been taking pictures. Ot you can look at climate data since it began to be recorded.
The phenomenon is real and we are the cause, the primary cause or at the least a major contributor.
The data is...
I jumped to the end, since this seems to have gone from an oversimplification of the GM statement to a debate about government, global warming and such.
The actual statement was something like “GM is aspiring to move all light duty vehicles to ev and hybrid by 2035.” I don’t remember it exactly...
Just because it doesn’t need a garage, doesn’t mean I won’t garage it. Likewise, I don’t “need” a CT, but I want one anyway. It can take the weather better than most, maybe any other vehicle.
So? I still prefer to not drive a vehicle covered in bird shit. Even if that would be more macho.
So we got our m3 12/26/20 and after seeing the Munro live, my wife went right out to check our panel gaps. They are fantastic. Very even and our paint looks very nice as well.
Probably better to heel than to lower completely. For raised trucks, I believe there is a powered step that can be installed to flip up or down. Not sure who makes them, maybe a few types? Should be easy enough to install on the CT.
The stealth vehicles seem to not have any surface that is perpendicular the the forward face.
and the surfaces also seem to have a dull, non-reflective finish.
That blackest black paint is way too fragile for something outdoors. It is also very expensive.
Well, there is no screen for a readout, no dash for a cam and if you were actually taking it off-road, cameras would get wiped out and FSD would be trying to avoid branches, bumps, dips, hills... Most of the stuff you want to go over, around and through.
As for the Quad, I would love one, but...
This is actually where I am as well. It will be fast enough and hopefully fun enough to drive and give me all the utility I might need.
I really hope this works out and I can get this. Between now and the release a lot can change, hopefully it will just get better and better!
I hope to add on to my garage to get it to fit.
Then, I will park it inside and bring it out on days where the weather is perfect and I can keep nasty rain and dust off of it as much as possible. I think it will do enough “work” by getting charged and having to allow me to sit in it (on special...
I had purchased a handful of shares prior to the announcement of the split and figured I would sell them towards the down payment, if/when the time came for my CT.
Then the split and the meteoric rise and I am debating keeping it in, longer term. It will mostly depend on our financial situation...
I was very surprised after getting my model 3 (a few days ago!) to see that the rear seat heaters were an option I could purchase (I thought it came with all the heated seats, but only the front are activated.)
I understand that this is just a software switch and the idea of having the upgrades...
Yeah, he said he wants to go, commenting it would really cool to be born on one planet and buried on another.
So, to the topic, Tesla will get to a place where it is flowing smoothly.
Factories will be built all over, production will be well optimized and Tesla will be producing a variety of...
I am so happy to hear this! There have been several Popular Science covers devoted to the flying cars that might be in our driveways “very soon”, I had about given up hope.
Sort of like computers getting speech recognition. It was “2-5 years away” for about 20 years, then, finally we have it!
If...
Also, if the price or the value of the FSD continues to increase, as Elon has indicated, there will be tremendous incentive to keep these vehicles on the road.
if FSD is not transferable, but purchasing it with a new vehicle is an additional 20k (or higher, Elon has said it would be “worth...
The batteries on current Teslas can be swapped out so there is no reason a company in the future couldn’t
make one to swap in that is of higher quality or similar quality but lighter or less expensive, etc.
So many people are working on batteries that there will certainly be improvements...
Lots here to discuss!
the amazing day that Tesla stock shor up in the last second of trading was the different funds buying the stock, per Tesla’s inclusion into the S&P 500. Kind of crazy to watch in anticipation.
As for Apple not performing well this past year, wasn’t their 4:1 or 5:1 split...
