Air suspension

In the reveal presentation the rear suspension is lowered when the ATV is loaded. Who did that and when? It almost looks like it started to lower immediately before the shot goes to the ATV.
Any guesses/ideas? Perhaps it occurs with FOB

I thought about that too for loading with a ramp. But that can't be a default setting. Loading most stuff I wouldn't want it lowered. We'll see eventually.

I'm really hoping the suspension adjustments are unlimited. It'd be great if we weren't stuck to presets and could actually adjust the four corners as we see fit.

From the demo ride videos; it appears that the screen had a sliding tab which moved through (3) standard positions. So, it will probably better than that, once we get them in hand. I can't imagine Musk taking things OUT of the trucks, that were in all these videos.

I have an air suspension on my Audi Q7 and it is fantastic. I was excited to see that it will be standard on the Cybertruck. It makes a lot of sense to have self leveling when loads in the rear vary from zero to 3000lbs+.

Hadn't thought of that until now. Think of all the cool new functions we may see on the app - suspension adjustment, opening/closing bed cover, raising/lowering tailgate.

I'm also hoping the onboard air compressor is somehow integrated into a tire inflation/deflation system so that you can easily air down or inflate at the press of a button and via the app.

I'm hoping for more than 3 present heights. Since the air suspension height will be controlled via slider, I hope we're given ability to adjust infinitely within the slider's entire range.

That would be so cool! I used to hate letting air out and putting it back in for driving in deep sand.

Why not have everything run on air? It's very versatile.
Trains have used air to hold their brakes open since the 1880's.
Tractor trailers use air in the brakes and suspension.
Older military trucks use air to run the wipers.
If you can fill a large enough reservoir you can move just about anything with air.
The problem is when you get a leak the entire system goes kaput.

Don't forget that this also gives you vacuum.
ICE engines use vacuum all over the place.

It was a demo vehicle. There would have been a remote control.
I had air suspension in my Model S and now I have them in my Jeep. Awesome!
considering the massive excursion in the Cybertruck, we’ll love it!

As a lifetime truck owner, one thing I am constantly fighting with suspension is the higher it goes the more body roll you get in turns. One of the reviewers who had gotten a ride after the unveiling mentioned how much body roll it had in the corners. Lets hope this isnt the case.
