Will all windows be armor proof? I would also hope the front windshield is, to help the degradation of visual viewing due to the road debris pitting the windshield.

(The car's windshield takes a lot of punishment from road debris as the car is used. Pitting can be the result of road debris such as dirt and small rocks hitting the car's windshield. Even using a damaged windshield wiper of the car can also cause pitting.)

Jay Leno asked Elon if the windshield was a special glass and Elon said it would be armored glass.

Remember the broken glass presentation? Should be the exact opposite in production! ?

as a former first responder, i am interested in how Tesla will address how to remove the windows quickly in case of emergency.
I was thinking about this too. I thought side window glass was specifically NOT laminated because of safety.

I think the CT windshield will be less susceptible to cracks caused by impacts from pebbles and small rocks due to the extreme angle. It‘s the polar opposite from a Jeep Wrangler windshield that is notorious for cracking.

Another good question will be if it does chip / spider crack after a rock....can standard window repair techniques (Like Safelite) or will there need to be something else or costly replacement.

With normal armored glass (20-30mm thick), hammers, knives, spears, axes, etc., will make short work of removing the window. I highly doubt the Cybertruck's glass will be anywhere near this thick.

On the other hand, the sort of glass you see in military vehicles and presidential transporters tends to be around 120mm thick. Now this stuff can withstand both rifle rounds and sustained attacks from pointed objects. It also requires you to register your vehicle with the armed forces and to notify them of any sale.

I looked and found some types of auto window film protection. (I'm sure they're more out there)
Windshield Armor Protection Film

ExoShield

FlexiShield Defender made by Reflek Technologies

Maxxion windshield protection film

STEK OPTIXshield windshield protection film

Having driven a LOT of armored vehicles, delamination of the glass in heat produced from sunlight is a real thing. I will be curious to see how/if Tesla address this. My CT will live in the driveway and TX summers don't mess. (The sun is about the only thing that gets to mess with TX and gets away with it on a recurring basis.) Shade definitely helps, but not an option for me unless I do some garage juggling... First World Problems.

If I were asked, unless they can solve the delamination issue, I'd prefer non-armored glass. Especially if it is laminated (Not even sure they could do non-laminated given the thickness and weight and get away without some serious penalties. Stuff is also finicky to see through.) I will not be alone and I don't think Tesla wants all the warranty claims they are going to get otherwise. Giving all the whining that goes on already ("I paid 60k! Why is there a smudge on my floor mats at delivery!!!), they will need to hire some more SC folks...

What about something like this?

My thoughts exactly, except I was leaning towards the "guarded" red toggle switch on the dash that says " In case of emergency egress..... break safety wire - lift red guard and move switch" kaboom.
