Joe Rogan is moving to Austin - is he following Elon Musk?

Joe Rogan has said he is leaving LA and moving to Texas and Austin is the city. He said about LA "(Expletive) it, I'm outta here"

Elon has been on Joe Rogan's podcast(over an hour long) a couple of times and Joe has said he has an order in for a Cybertruck(he owns a Model S P100D).

Question is Joe following Elon? Although Elon had said he would be moving Tesla to Texas, he has never mentioned buying a home in Texas. He also recently sold his Bel Air mansion for $29 million.

Elon has not mentioned buying another home in Texas but I would bet a steak dinner he has already bought a home in Austin(or somewhere near) or is planning on it.

Lots of people selling their overpriced homes in California and moving out of state. They'll miss the nice weather near the beach, but that's about all they'll miss. Funny thing, once you get about 5 miles away from the cool Pacific ocean breezes it gets hot in the summer in California too.

Elon can live anywhere in the world he wants since money is not an issue. Maybe he wants to be close to SpaceX in Boca Chica near Brownsville and also help oversee Terafactory Austin get going initially. His pet project CT is important to him and I'm sure he wants it to be a success.
The Semi is also important. So it may be he feels he needs to be there to help things run smoothly.


Plus Elon has big plans for TA. It's the beginning of world domination ?
