As if FCV aren't costly enough adding a turbo will add few $thousand more. Interesting nonetheless.

The idea is that higher pressure operation means more specific power. For the same amount of power out a smaller fuel cell stack + turbine is smaller/lighter/less expensive that the larger stack that would be required sans turbine. If that does not turn out to be the case then they aren't going to sell many.

IMO hydrogen cars are dead so the application for this would be in trucks, maritime etc.
