I picked the Tri-motor after they moved up production by a year. As for range It won’t hurt to have a little extra. As to cost, I have ”sunk” cost in a solar PV array. I will be producing enough energy to provide local travel.
I love both trucks, but I will go with the Tesla Cybertruck. I like the look of the interior better. I do like the R1T a lot, but the CT is cool. Looking forward to more info on it.
My number is 112 785 140. I did it with in a few minutes of when he said we could oder now.
Originally ordered a dual motor, but when they changed delivery dates I change the order to the tri-motor. Not sure how long this will delay my order.
Thanks for the heads up not the 40 / 50 A requirements for the NEMA 14-15R receptacle. I will look into that. I had another receptacle on the circuit, but my daughter has a Tesla Model 3 so I changed the receptacle. (No one accused me of being bright)
Wouldn't it be better to wait to see if some new charging technology may become available? I have aa NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage but I think the circuit is only 20 amps. I have one in my barn that is on a 50 amp circuit. The Volt that I had was charged on the 20 amp circuit.
I will definitely complete the purchase. I'm happy the Trimotor will be available in 2021. I really look forward to the statistics that attach to it. I currently have a GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab Denali 4X4. It is not small. Luckily my "small" garage door is 9 feet wide and 10 feet high...
