I saw this video and I immediately thought that I would love to see this kinda stuff regarding the Cybertruck. I know that Rivian is a bit further in development and this really helps their case, but it would be nice to see the CT in videos like this. Unfortunately as we've seen with preorders...
When I first saw it... I kinda gave my computer screen that side-eye like what???
Now the only thing that bothers me about it is access to the "vault" from the side...
But if I can hop in my truck and have it navigate on autopilot to my bro-in-law's house in Jersey (3 hours away), how upset...
Have you guys seen the news that Elon expects to start preliminary production of the CT in May of next year?!?!?!?!?!
I'm 650K in line so I'll be way behind you guys, but the fact that we might know ALL of the details of the CT in 8 months or so is so exciting to me!
Oh and BTW I don't think...
I am ok with $100 and probably would have put $1000 down.
To be honest I am ok with where I am in line (640k-ish). I think when it starts rolling out, many of those preorders are going to disappear. I don't think I'll be getting it next year or maybe even 2022 because of the dropouts, but many...
I've been very curious how the door handles work on the Cybertruck since seeing the test rides they provided at the reveal party. I thought perhaps as someone with the appropriate key approached they would pop out or perhaps the occupant would press on them and the door would open like the Model...
You gotta remember that Nikola is where Tesla was 10 years ago... hopes and dreams and drawings and a bit of capital.
I won't dog Nikola because, assuming they're on the up and up, they're trying to break into a tough market.
However, I think all the Tesla haters that are supporting Nikola...
So has anyone gone through the reservation tracker and removed all of the non-continental U.S. reservations to see what the new adjusted numbers would be?
All I have to say is... because according to the numbers I'm about 600k in line is that I would like to see all the details (and initial production) by Q4 of 2021. After the Model Y, and I'm a Tesla fanboy, the QA has slipped since the improvements seen during M3 production. I understand they...
I think it's a valid question!
I am one of those "future Cybertruck owners" who won't be able to park it in the garage! My wife and I specifically wanted a 2-car garage to park our cars in and I won't be able to fit the CT in it! Pulled in all the way to the wall I won't be able to shut the...
I totally see what you are saying regarding ample storage and sometimes unused storage but imagine all of those lost goodies (some perhaps important and some not) being turned 90 degrees on end and jammed into the back of that storage area to allow someone a place to sit!
UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will...
You sir are a good friend and colleague and graciously accommodating. I'd sooner let them ride in the frunk than fold that 6th seat up for them!
All kidding aside, I would love a 5-seat option!
Agreed! Everybody's like "it was a dead-blow hammer" and I was like ok so as long as it's a dead-blow hammer you'd be fine with someone hitting your current car with it???
People on the internet are as stupid as they are smart... and possibly stupid-er... I don't want anyone getting close to my...
It can do everything the other Teslas can do + off roading + the Vault!!
the only reason I bought my 4Runner in 2016 was because I didn't want an electric luxury sport sedan (model S) / luxury SUV (model X) / luxury sedan (model 3).
And it will look MF'ing Bad A$$ while doing it!
I think a more appropriate question would be Is the "Cybertruck too big" for you? Not "You" as in the OP but the "royal you".
Like you pointed out in your post, it is essentially identical in dimensions to the best-selling F150. I assume this is why some people buy the F150 and some buy the...
I think this is misleading. Based on what we can see in pictures, the driver and passenger seats look like comfy "bucket" seats, but I don't think we know what the actual configuration is yet. And by that I mean it is technically a "bench" front seat with the center seat, but is it 40-20-40 or...
I would rather tell the 6th person they need to get a ride in someone else's vehicle than have all the personal effects I have placed in the "folded down seat storage console" smashed into the bottom of said storage console upon lifting it up for that sixth person to hitch a ride...
I only say...
I'm already figuring in a vinyl wrap. I personally hate chrome. Shiny takes work cuz it never stays shiny! I'll probably wait to see what the SS looks like after a year and then wrap it in a matte color. I love the "concrete" color that Toyota used on their TRD Pros.
This video came out several hours ago basically saying that the battery technology in the CT will have to be considerably more energy dense / economical to meet the currently advertised prices. I tend to agree that the CT will definitely benefit from whatever is announced on Battery Day...
